  1. How much are you allowed to store in anything other than a bunded container ?
  2. Who told you that, Sheffield council ??
  3. The copper bit on the end of the wire needs to touch the springy metal bit to stop the saw by earthing the coil. It looks like it's come out of it's slot in the choke lever.
  4. How would a tunnel work to raise the level of a boat to the next section ? If you tunneled level for the length of a canal section you would still have to lift the boat at the end of the section. Easier to have a few small rises instead of one great big one like the Falkirk Wheel. Anybody got any wood ?

    Husqvarna 262XP

Depends how bad you want one. I wouldn't pay over £120 for any old saw when you can pick something like a 357xp up on Gumtree for £170.
  6. Birch will definitely dry, Willow might take a bit longer if it's from near water.
  7. What really annoys me is intolerant people
  8. Some folks just can't settle to one job. I looked up burlesque dancing and it just looks like a coy stripper to me. It was an insomniac agnostic dyslexic who laid awake all night wondering if there really is a dog kevin and a dyslexic pimp who bought into a warehouse. I'm more into jigsaw puzzles, I was pleased to finish the last one in under 2 months. It had more than 10 pieces and said 3 to 4 years on the box
  9. I read the 066 coil fits but you need to alter the flywheel to another keyway. It's in the link above where I read it

    SAW king

Better than being called a Richard the third ?
  11. Yes we only get the interesting insects in our wood pile. When you put some wood next to the fire in winter and next minute a giant wasp is flying around the room like the air ambulance indoors.
  12. Salmonella would probably be a risk.
  13. This bit Stubby.
  14. I've started getting a black band flickering on the screen in Chrome and not sure if it's something on the site or my desktop computer or monitor but it only happens on Arbtalk. The banding flickers and jumps from place to place on the screen as I scroll. Anybody else getting it or just me ?
  15. Get yourself an Echo saw with the ES suffix, 8 year old girl can start one of those.
  16. They use chainsaws in the tropics with no adverse effects and tanks are vented as mentioned above so don't worry about it. I wouldn't leave the caps loose or I'd be leaving a trail of fuel everywhere I went and causing fires willy nilly when I forgot about it.
  17. Is it any good ? It's dynamite?
  18. There's a spring between the trigger and the operator presence lever that looks like it is a problem on most saws until you figure out where it goes
  19. Roll it in glitter and stick a flag in it
  20. Blooming lovely.
  21. I don't know about the chains but get yourself some gloves man

    Pro-Lite

Just point to a reference where it says this and it might help clear up the confusion.
  23. It just looks like a proper separate Woodruff key to me not one cast into the flywheel with the groove in the crank.
  24. Are you putting the oil in the fuel or up your bugle ? How did you associate the oil with the nasal beacon problem ? More likely to be a dietary or health problem than environment, eat more fruit and greens.
