    New saws

    It's prettier
  2. It just fell off and got lost, can't say for definite it was broken
  3. I took one out in our garden (it was blocking light from wife's veg patch), started at the bottom and worked my way up the stem cutting branches off as I went. I don't envy you as they are hard wood and evil thorns but there was no effect on the ground after I took it down and I drilled the stump and killed it with weedkiller. I wouldn't get too hung up on ground heave from something like that just get it down if it is in the wrong place for what it is although the birds do like them.
  4. I'll chuck my change in whatever charity box is on the shop counter but there is a food bank at the church just up the road from us and the first thing the customers do as they come out is light a cigarette and get their phone out to call a taxi. It makes me a bit sceptical when cigs cost so much (I don't know actual price but my mate who smokes is spending £80 a week on them)
  5. Batteries go to the scrapyard, I took some up just to get rid and got £40 for them. I think I would put some Onduline bitumen ridge over the top of what is already there after scraping the moss off, do the whole length for not too much money.
  6. Get some cheap cellulose thinners to rub it with, shifts most things and smells great.
  7. When I was a kid I had an imaginary special friend only I could see, till he ran off with my imaginary girlfriend
  8. Anyone who sees a psychiatrist needs their head looking at. ?
  9. It sounds like it's running rich at the top end of the revs probably to keep them down while it's running in. Did you buy it new?
  10. You should get out more, go into town and shout at traffic or something Is that your workshop Don ?
  11. Get a sheet of wet and dry taped to a flat surface and rub the sides of the saw flat to sharpen the majority of the tooth profile.
  12. A bit like David Carradine then
  13. Cutting wood is my guess
  14. If there's no evidence of damage you just need a new piston ring.
  15. Friend of mine uses one of those and it does the job for him with wood up to 10" diameter. The motor stop is exceptionally quick on his when you let go of the trigger.
  16. Why would you need to take a test if the car drives itself ? You could be blind and claim to not know you were in there on your own if you got pulled up. Honest officer I though Bill was just not talking to me.
  17. I've sent you a PM I've replied to your PM, you have not read the reply. It says in your PM to text some info but you don't include a number to text it to.
  18. Is there a blank plug under the cover in place of the decompression? It could be a budget thing I haven't seen any copies of Dolmar saws.
  19. Your 051 has the capacity already, nearly 90cc and 30" bar.
  20. I replied by PM last time you asked.
  21. 4 years and up, we're clearly the target customers
  22. Never had Sky, I fitted a dish and bought a Humax Freesat box. Snooker is about the only sport I watch, it's on the BBC red button this week. Oh yes I watch the motor sports on ITV4 as well but for ordinary programmes I usually record something and we only watch between 9.00 and 11.00 pm then it gets switched off. I read a Kindle most of the time.
  23. Take it apart and put it in a box and no-one will know ?
  24. They look like galls
  25. You'd still have different gauges for the bar slot.
