  1. Anybody on here clearing this mess up ? I read about it this morning and thought about nipping out with the 135 and Berlingo with the trailer on.
  2. Like EP90
  3. Unless you are buying for the purpose of possibly rebuilding a saw then new is really the only way to go. I'm still looking for the elusive 365 or something similar at a cheap price with an honest description but they all seem to be " stood for ages and possibly in need of a tune " instead of thrashed and knackered but might go again with some work.
  4. I think I'd have moved the little shed with the tractor Nice video and good humour.
  5. You have to put a link up, we don't want to miss this ;D
  6. All a contiguous file means is that it is not fragmented so it should not actually be slowing the computer down. You can delete files unless they are system files which the computer needs and will be protected from accidental deletion. Download Glary Utilities free edition and run the defrag and a clean up.
  7. Is the saw from the US ? I was watching a few saws and never saw a 576 finishing last night.
  8. How would you start to describe that, wouldn't fancy trying to build a tree house in it
  9. This thread is like groundhog day, it shows another page on my computer but when I click it I go back to the top of the previous one
  10. Here's the Chestnut tree in the little wood I walk by. It looks like it was pollarded in the dim and distant past and it has some really knotty looking branch unions. I don't know why I find these things so fascinating, I just enjoy looking at them.
  11. What insurance covers engine damage ? Mine only covers accidents. If I blew the engine up it would be down to me to repair it but if I crash into someone they will pay to repair both vehicles. I can buy 5 litres of chain oil for £15 inc. vat so a vat registered firm would be able to claim the £3 vat back, how cheap are they buying engine oil ? The little hand held steam cleaners don't generate much water and would probably work well on saw gunk.
  12. That would be like wetting yourself in a dark suit, you'd get the warm feeling but no-one would notice

Do you have AA or RAC membership ? Get them on the case if you have.
  14. What good is a raincoat for computer files ? Why do you want to remove them are they causing a problem ? Contiguous files are just files that are not fragmented so running a defrag will not afftect them.
  15. It needs some go faster stripes to go with the Carlos Fandango wheels
  16. If there was petrol in the float bowl when it was parked up it may have blocked jets. Strip the carb and clean them out with aerosol carb cleaner and air line if you have one. My niece brought me a generator same kind of thing last week and the pilot was solid and needed rodding out
  17. I spotted a couple of oddities in a little wood locally the other day. The first is a Beech which seems to have grown another trunk horizontally at ground level which has rooted and formed another tree. The other is a Hawthorn which has included a length of angle iron into it's trunk. There's a Chestnut in there as well which looks like it was pollarded a very long time ago and has made a nice big tree but it is losing a few branches just lately.
  18. It looks like Noel Gallagher
  19. Have a look on Bill's saw shop, he has a page for Stihl and Husqvarna. It's not bang up to date but it gives an idea.
  20. All you need to be a professional is to be competent and skilled in a particular activity and be paid for doing it according to the dictionary. The oldest profession as far as I know is something to do with ladies of the night
  21. Check the oil pump drive as well to see if it spins freely on the crank while you are in there.
  22. A devious plan eh, lateral thinking ?
  23. My guess is Witch's Broom. Ours gets patches of it but that looks an extreme case.
  24. It's aluminium with magnesium content, other aluminium ingredient is silicon. Tig rods are either 4043 or 5356 for either flavour. I've tig welded bits for my scooter and the aluminium is of an indeterminate make up but welded o.k. with 5356 rods.
  25. Time for a carb kit, sounds like a holed or split diaphragm.
