  1. We have some stuff called Stove Magic which we got with the stove about 12 years ago and still have some left as you only need a tiny blob on kitchen roll when the glass is tarred up. It seemed expensive at the time but it works really well.
  2. I saw our first Swallow about two weeks ago perched on the tv aerial and have seen a couple on phone wires while out walking but not seen any quantities and still waiting to see a Swift, that's when you know it's warming up.

It certainly doesn't look like it's done a lot of work or someone has cleaned it fastidiously every time it's been used.

Your video is private stewie, can you just describe it to us in great detail [ame] [/ame]
  5. I never got out of breath tying a knot before.
  6. You say your present 45cc saw is not powerful enough and always being repaired but you don't mention what make it is. If it's a Gardenline or Chinese saw you may find a smaller equivalent Stihl or Husqvarna or Echo is well up to what you need without going to a higher capacity just more efficient use of what is there.
  7. That's what I had heard. A friend of mine is an architect technician (retired) but he keeps up with a bit of work now and then and there are regulations concerning the area of glass, brickwork pillars, footings and insulation requirements under new regulations. It all gets very complicated if you follow the guidelines.
  8. If you take the clear roof off and change it to a solid roof is it still a conservatory ?
  9. Probably the spring needs pushing across a bit so it contacts the brass terminal on the end of the kill wire. It touches the plastic on the choke lever instead and doesn't earth sometimes.
  10. Mine too although I find I need a 9 in some trainers
  11. £4 on Amazon, £2.85 on ebay. A mate lent it me and I still laugh when I think about it, it is funny.
  12. You'll have to watch Man about dog to understand why I laugh at that [ame] [/ame]
  13. Check the coil to flywheel gap.
  14. Del boy and Rodney are looking for that [ame] [/ame]
  15. At least they didn't say you'd straight gassed it If something electrical like that happened I would not want the saw back I would be straight on to their headquarters or citizens advice.
  16. Francital do some type A trousers in orange.
  17. We were near Rossendale Lancashire yesterday delivering a Yamaha and could see the moors burning from the bungalow we were at. It looked a lot of smoke.
  18. Folkestone fixings is a good supplier, I've had a few bits from them and usually next day delivery if ordered early enough. That set is bigger than the one I got, it looks impressive. The only thing my set lacks is Torx bits which would be handy in 1/4" drive and I see there are some in that set.
  19. Lit it last night 8.30pm and watched telly and left it to go out after I watched snooker till about 1.00am. I was reluctant to leave it and go to bed.
  20. You should not use terms like that, there are some tough girls knocking about. We prefer to describe his type as "swishy"
  21. I got a Bahco S87+7 set off ebay for a bargain price and it's brilliant. 1/2" and 1/4" drive 6 point sockets and combination plus swivel spanners and the quality is superb.
  22. Let me know what bin it's going in and I'll fetch it out. I have a 135 which is a similar saw and it's been no trouble.
  23. The word you need there is bury, you are burying some rocks . The rocks would fetch money over here or someone would take them away if you offered, for garden features building a rockery or alpine garden. I love the little digger, it's versatile.
  24. Big Ash trees round here are not doing anything unusual they are always the last thing to green up. Went a walk this afternoon and the Hawthorn hedges are coming into bud but they are still tight no sign of opening yet.
  25. Or ewe comic ewe ? Feeling a bit sheepish now
