  1. Being M-Tronic it should retune itself shouldn't it ? The system is supposed to take octane, altitude and temperature etc. and adjust accordingly. When you empty and run on Aspen to store them does it run or struggle ?
  2. We used to use electric clippers with a pull along generator. I was cutting a tall hawthorn hedge and as I swiped up I was covered in greenfly. I tried to wipe them off my face and the tip of the cutter swung round and nipped my thigh. I had trousers and overalls on and it didn't cut me but pinched a great black and purple V which throbbed for days.
  3. Sulk ? Or fetch his mate with the 880.
  4. They won't let you do the training if you don't have the gear so the gear has to go to the top
  5. Brick acid cleans it and that is usually Hydrochloric. It's cheap from builder's suppliers as well.
  6. You can get Site chainsaw trousers from Screwfix for £60, if you want Stihl Hiflex or something like that you are looking at paying 3 times that in some places.
  7. Bloke who comes in the bike shop restores Ariel bikes. He had a square four in there last year went for £16,000.
  8. Leave it jagged at the bottom and tell them it fell down, BT man repairs the wire after and you save £50.
  9. Furniture polish the block kind works well. Apply it with a shoe brush and buff it with a soft cloth.
  10. A friend of mine has one with a chip out of the piston top but it still runs reasonably so it gets left alone. He will have to do it eventually though.
  11. I've got an outside door made of pine planks and when the sun shines on it resin oozes out. It still does this and it's been up 20 years. It's the resin that makes the wood burn so well I think, I've not had any for a while but it's always welcome.
  12. Have you been talking to my mate Andy Anyway it wasn't the house it was only a shed If it wasn't so far away I'd be in there
  13. Saw a lot of gnats but nothing bee like. It was a warm day in the sun though.
  14. A friend of ours bought some cheap terraces in Newcastle through an agent two years ago, the local council put a compulsory purchase order on the whole street and demolished them. It doesn't always work out, there are a lot of things to look into and even then it can go belly up. If your money is spare cash go for it but if you depend on it being available in the near future study carefully.

    Dolmar

You forgot "while holding the deadman and trigger wide open":001_rolleyes:
  16. I don't know where you are or the euro exchange rate but that sounds a lot of money for second hand saws. What was a farmer doing with a Stihl 090 ? There's a lot of difference between the two saws, what are you looking to use it for ? Ex demo 066 sounds suspicious how long has it been on demo for it's got to be 15 years old.
  17. Pay up front and you'd never know they've been there
  18. That bacon looks like a dog's tongue, get it cooked man Just had savoury duck, fried onion, mushy peas and mash
  19. Put it on ebay and see what it makes, that's what it's worth. Have you owned it from new, 3 to 4 sounds a bit vague ? Sell it with the original bar setup and sell the powersharp kit separate would probably get you a bit more money. £120 would be my guess for the saw if it's very clean.
  20. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Offer to pick up and pay cash and see if you get a response. You have already been in contact I assume as you have more detail than in the advert. If he makes an excuse like he is on duty and his wife does not like strangers turning up then just walk away.

    MS460 Crankcase

The whole crankcase is the same part number according to L&S Engineers.
  22. Yeah don't hock a loogie with your visor down Mesh glasses look a good investment and they don't cost a lot.
  23. Is that a toilet door made out of fish boxes ?
  24. Schadenfreude Jon ! I'm not a particularly big fan of theirs but they are one of the largest employers in our neck of the woods, a lot of people would be a lot worse off if they shut.
  25. $25 (about £20) item is not going to attract a lot of import tax, probably more in postage. Waiting for delivery is biggest problem from overseas sellers.
