  1. All the tools tv would be more appropriate
  2. That's how I remove stubborn bolts I did it recently to remove a sheared caliper bolt on my daughter's car, the mig is invaluable. For the simple job in hand I would straighten the hole up, tap it to the next size up and drill the exhaust flange to suit. Keep it simple.
  3. There was a young girl from Prestatyn Who said "you'll never fit that in" I said it's a bet I've not been beat yet I'm sure it'll go when it's flattened. and some stuff about a kaleidoscope.
  4. I'm enjoying this thread it's bringing out the creative streak. I prayed to God I know it's odd I'm really not religious I needed a sign To ease my mind Nothing too prestigious And then came revelation It was really elementary I turned around I saw the sign And all it said No Entry.
  5. That's one of my all time favourites along with I wish I was a caterpillar Life would be a farce sliding down the cabbage leaves and skidding on my knees
  6. That Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Keeps ringing me up almost nightly She rang me at seven, nine and eleven That's the trouble with people from Devon They won't take no for an answer. (gratuitous picture of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley she is from Deon)
  7. A friend of mine bought a Stihl 039 with a "usable" chain. The witness marks were long gone if it ever had any and it looked like a collection of toenail clippings
  8. It looks a quality insert. Does it have a lip on the outside to seat to the head so it spaces the plug out a bit ?
  9. The first one is not a hyperlink, your browser is doing that and sending you where it wants you to go so that google or someone will get money from them for redirecting you. It's nothing to do with me. now let him have his thread back. If a mod took the .com from the end it would stop doing it.
  10. Because one's a real link (the one I put in the second post) and the other one (not the real one) is sponsored by google
  11. There is no link in the first post, it's your browser converting it to a live link because it has .com after it. Mine doesn't do it.
  12. My missus tried to convince me the vacuum cleaner is a power tool so it's man's territory. I use a brush from a dustpan set like a little carpet brush and I leave my boots outside in the lean to.
  13. I didn't put a link up, I will now though acresinternet.com is all one word
  14. Not on the ebay pictures, they look a lot like the ones used on the cheap Chinese saws in fact. It's an Oregon D033 mount according to acresinternet.com
  15. The oil holes need blocking off one side and the spare ones blocking completely or the oil is going to the wrong place. Randy sells Oregon Powermatch bars for the saw so they should be available.
  16. Is it running yet ? Is the piston the right way round ?
  17. I'm watching it as well now, bet you wish you'd not asked P.S. I'm not buying it just making up the numbers.
  18. Or the 360TES, it's pretty new isn't it ?
  19. I've just done my chain with the electric Lidl sharpener and I found the shortest tooth to set it to. It surprised me how much I was taking off some of the others and how far out the angles were on some of them. It's an old .325 chain and it's only ever been filed and I am by no means an expert but it did the job, just does it a lot better now. There's still plenty of clearance on the rakers, the saw is only 40cc so I don't want to overdo it.
  20. Nah, it's a stealth saw, just needs some concealer paint for the new handle
  21. Some saws use special security screws to stop tampering instead of caps. There are usually cheaper ones available on ebay like the star or spline or the pacman ones.
  22. Yeah, gimme 6 man
  23. According to the website the 435 runs .325 chain as well so the adjuster and porting are the only differences.
  24. Why didn't it go back where you got it from ? There's been some serious vibration to fret the muffler to that condition. At 4 months old I don't think I would have taken apart without the manufacturer or distributor seeing it first. Have you got any pictures of the piston, was it damaged ?
  25. It sounds like it was just running weak before the fuel ran out if it went back to normal with some fresh fuel in.
