  1. That looks Fantastic, No better place to go to work!
  2. If any of you guys need a stalking buddy, or have work I can help with in exchange for a stalk let me know. I have all my climbing and chainsaw tickets, have a 560XPG, have been part of a deer management group on FC ground. Am willing to travel. Thanks
  3. Any guys on here stalk or need some deer managed?, I was wondering if anyone has ever managed to swap a some thinning/ cutting for a morning / evening out on some ground? I am doing my DSC Level 2, and am willing to work for a chance to fill my portfolio
  4. So you do need 2 climbers minimum then, unless your a contract climber......
  5. Yep, I thought it was not just good practice but industry standard for insurance to have two climbers on site.
  6. So it's OK to have 1 climber and an unqualified ground on site?
  7. I thought you needed 2 climbers minimum? If you are unqualified you may need 2 climbers on the job? I may be wrong, other lads on the site will know
  8. I am looking for work at the moment and was offered £40.00 a day, I have CS tickets own PPE, Chainsaw, climbing kit and van. I turned it down, but there are plenty of guys willing to work for this little or less. Yes many guys are part time and at college, Arb Company’s pay less because young lads are in “training / learning”; but I know I was shocked how little the pay is in Arb considering all the costs.
  9. Thanks for the info guys. I am going to see how the 15" feels, and maybe get a 18" with a different sprocket. Thanks Again
  10. Hi All, I just purchased a 560XPG from FR Jones. It’s coming with a 15” bar. My question is what bar length do most of you Guys or Girls run on the 560 for general arb / tree work to get the best out of it. Thanks
