  1. That's the one instantly annoys me normally used by customers and a certain section of the community who also do lopping topping and limping
  2. Wow a lot of keywords to many if you ask me I wouldn't read a whole page like that I get bored easily 😖 I also hate the word crowning 😡
  3. There is no definitive answer it's a how long is a piece of string question. Until it's on the floor forwarded to a place where someone can load them away on a lorry then it's worthless. As aspen Arb said until it hits the floor you just don't know the condition and you get get unlucky as he did with that oak. I suggest felling and inviting people to come and have a look and then you will get your answer
  4. Check to make sure it hasn't been put in a folder on the home screen I've done that myself before and thought id lost stuff. You shouldn't be able to delete the music folder
  5. Id see if they have photos before you do anything else as your number plate could have been cloned and be on another faster vehicle
  6. Whereabouts in Norfolk are you and what sort of money are you look for?
  7. Sorry to hear this Adam bastards! Far to close to home need to keep a good eye on my landy there been a lot go missing recently up this way 😡
  8. Thought it looked like one, how are you finding it I'm going to demo one tomorrow with a view of buying. The videos and reviews all seem positive are there any cons .to them?
  9. Is that a woodlands Mill?
  10. not to bad for rural Suffolk we don't get phone signal at home so rely on broadband for all internet. It does struggle a bit on streaming sometimes but could be worse I guess
  11. Definitely the one I look at all the pics in 😉
  12. I enjoyed the "what climbing gear do I need to rescue my drone" thread still don't know whether the poster is alive or dead after his rescue attempt 😜
  13. Lovely job can't beat doing things properly I wish I could do more hedges by hand but customers aren't willing to pay that little extra it will cost in time top work!
  14. Does he do that for you as well don't know who he thinks he is using initiative on a job site 😉
  15. I quite often do jobs like this. A good friend has a flail so he does as much as he can do then the bigger stuff I follow him and tidy up with a saw and hedge cutter if you need a tidier finish works well for me.
  16. Don't use the de comp valve mine have never worked from new on any of my husky saws!
  17. You won't lose money if you put the galv chassis on it they go for even more money when done. I'd go for the galv chassis and the thing will last forever I'm looking into doing my 130 at the moment.
  18. I've had very similar a customer had to remove all trees within a certain radius. One was a large willow but the others a small cherry and row of small conifer trees was crazy. They also wanted a neighbours small apple tree removed before they would insure him. I advised to go with another company but the customer decided to remove the trees. The garden looked very bare and soulless afterwards which was a shame. We didn't remove the neighbours apple tree as quite rightly the neighbour told the insurance company to do one!

    Emigrating

I know the feeling we are just in the process of emigrating to Canada, Alberta to be precise so a few years behind you. We're going to be giving up a lot to go family friends my business etc but feel it's the best thing to do for our little ones. The life style there seems so much better for kids and us for the future. We're lucky as we do have close family there so not going to be all alone in a strange country. Unfortunately for me I feel this country is slowly going downhill. I love this country but worry how it's going to be for my kids as they grow up. It's always good to hear from people who have gone to Canada and made it work for themselves as I will be starting the business again from scratch so good to see it's possible and achievable.
  20. What a good idea as long as people don't push their luck with it nice one
  21. How about driving in the opposite direction and doing the north cost 500 round Scotland will be lovely this time of year
  22. My father in law was in bands in Southend in the 70s and had the pleasure of playing on the same bill as feelgood at the kursaal and the kursaal flyers at another gig not that I'm jealous 😜
  23. Most definitely but they don't make musicians like that anymore most are so boring nowadays
  24. I lived on canvey island for many years used to see him regularly when he played there thoroughly nice bloke I learnt a lot about my guitar playing from talking to him and watching him.
  25. I don't suffer from asthma or hay fever but these trees are the only thing that I can't be around in summer time. They set my nose and eyes off just being near them it's the pollen I'd definitely won't do any work on them this time of year
