Id happily spend some time trying to find your tree jack if you have an area where you think it could be especially if there’s a cuddle as a prize! I’ll contact in the new year I’m manic on the run up to Xmas and I’ll arrange to pop down and have a scan around for you -
There was about 30 pictures of the airfield and it’s buildings and an interesting article about the squadron that were based there. Have you found any interesting articles whilst working there I’m just looking at the location of the ammo dump and road network. I’d love to run my metal detector around I’m sure theres plenty underground!

Great thread Graham there was an interesting article last week on the East Anglian aviation history Facebook page about the airbase at a Raydon. I won’t clog the thread up with all the pictures and blurb but there were a couple of old aerial shots of the airbase and Great wood.

I always found nfu expensive on my transits for some reason. They’re a good price for my landy so I use them for that. The transits I always went on the compare sites and found cheaper deals, generally had good prices from aviva

I get rather annoyed by squeezing in a last minute job for a customer who desperately needs it doing. You move jobs and rush about only for them to not bother paying you till they can be bothered [emoji35]
