  1. So glad I was lucky enough to get my 880 replaced with what was most likley one of the last 880,s dont use it much its not done 10 hrs work but no chance I will get rid until I am too old and knackerd to start it

Hi I was just looking at carpet trolleys on ebay about 150 quid and with a long handle added then may work especially if you could put tyres with air instead of solid as I find air filled tyres work better on rough ground good luck with getting something sorted ,I need to learn to weld better then I could make my own .

  5. The owner of the small Est I look after is a history buff and he was telling me about the ink one day when we were looking at Oak apples .

I would just let him keep the wood as most tree surgeons have an unspoken rule we dont work just for the wood ,as training ,equipment,insurance,ppe all cost rather a lot of money ,thats my take on it I was actually rang up early one morning by a bloke saying can you come now and clear this tree its blocking the road and next door needs to go to work so I start to ask questions and mention cost and he says well you can keep the wood so I politely inform him of my costs so I didnt rush out of the house saw in hand ,life is too short to go making stress you didnt have to do anything to deal with the tree and yes its a total shame it came down ,maybe get the farmer to plant another one near by
  8. You vould always buils your own kiln my mate in Wales used a shipping container not sure how it works we dont talk any more he is totaly hen pecked and me and his old Hag never liked each other

  10. Hi I have always struggled to find good fitting saw trousers being short and fat ish it seems the bigger the size the longer the leg tried some on and the knees were down by my ankeks my girlfriend wears an old pair of mine or the chaps both fit ok
  11. Its a bit small to do much with you could cut it into woodturning blanks before it cracks but seal it with wax or glue even then I dought you will get that much for .
  12. If its anything like the old 4stroke one we have on the estate it will be a good bit of kit ours is 20 yrs old and still going well it has a harnes that is ace for holding the weight so like I said if its as good or better than the old one we have its totaly worth getting

Hi guys I have a kitty multi machine that is in the way before I put it on ebay I thought it would be cool to offer it to my fellow arbtalkers so its a spindle moulder ,a table saw ,slot morticer and a planner thicknesser ,it does have some tooling with it all works as it should its just big and in the way to be honest I only use the planner thicknesser and with my 25 inch wadkin being installed I will just get a bench top 12 inch planner thicknesser so if anyone is interested I can send some photos ,it is belt driven and could do with some new ones I would take £350 for it anyone interested PM me Thanks Mark

  18. Hi Mick is that a comando 850 interstate mk3 looks just like my old one mine was in diffrent colours white with blue and red stripes on the tank I have a big dent in my shin from it kicking back at me one time
  19. I was also advised to use washing up liquid and a few drops of Ecover seems to work ok up to now but havent cut any larch yet,plenty of monkey puzzle western red

  21. So just reading this add for this metal conditioner that reckons it stops chains blades etc from blunting ,it sounds like good stuff but is it just a gimic so have any of you ever used anything like this sort of thing Thanks Mark

Hi guys thanks for your thoughts and have noticed a very small bend in the bar ,this saw is brand new I doubt it has 10 hrs work on yet I have delt with 2 small wind blown ash trees and a sapling and an hour or so logging up fire wood do you think the bend in the bar could be from new as its been throwing chains ever since we had it Thanks Mark
