  1. So we delivered my mateys coffin the other day and I just had to ask how many other people have made a coffin for their mate and in 10yrs we are only the second people to do it ,well in the undertakers where my mate is .
  2. I have 2 tiny splinters from some WRC and I just can’t get the bloody things out will have to see if this hack works they are so bloody annoying

When you try to apply for the grant they want your business rate number and if like me you don’t even qualify to pay them ,so I needed to get rate assessed but they would not do that so even though we have a small business,with a retail shop we don’t qualify for F##k all it’s typical big business gets their cash but the small guy gets F###ed over as usual ,we need a revolution

Hi yep lots of sanding ,total ball ache ,but when all sanding is done have a look at penny floor resin ,resin floors last for yrs and yrs totaly water proof but if you’re pipes run under the floor and you get a problem then big job ,something to think about Good luck with it and do keep us informed Welcome to the forum Stay Safe

Hi guys thanks for all your reply’s , I think I sorted it the metal bit that the water feed pipe comes through kept moving so I had to dismantle it re tap the thread put a bigger bolt in it ,and replacing the band ,and all the other bolts , I use Steven Cull for band sharpening,I really didn’t realise how often the bands need changing ,it sure is a big learning curve but thanks to all you guys I am getting my head round it . Thanks Guys

  14. So guys I have been Alaskan Milling for a few yrs now !but not had it out much since I broke my ankle,so I keep hearing about Low Pro ,what’s the difference say between a Sugi bar with 404 ripping chain !is it thinner,quicker ,just curious. Thanks guys
  15. Hi for what’s it’s worth I don’t think it’s Sapele it’s not red enough,all the cabinets in our living room were made from Sapele by my dad

So I want some floor boards for a project that I am gathering materials for ,so a lot of floor boards are pine ,but why don’t we see any monkey puzzle floor boards it’s pine one of the densest pines , I have quite a lot of monkey puzzle do you guys think it would work for floor boards or am I missing something as to why people don’t use it ,I think it would look ace as a floor as usual keen to hear your thoughts.   18. Hi yep I always use water clear polyester as well !one of the things that I did struggle with when first playing about was keeping it contained as it will just sleep through most sealers ,expanding foam etc

  20. Hi It would depend on how dry the table top is I made a glow in the dark coffee table for Nepia on hear and I think it’s only moved a tiny bit

Hi Thanks mate he was battling cancer for a while had an inoperable lump in his back leg that spread one in his chest but being a bull mastiff cross America Bulldog he soldiered on but out for a short walk his leg went and he couldn’t stand up we managed to get the vet to do a home visit as they are not ment to at the moment,but it was his time ,sad as F##k he was born in our house ,but he’s buried next to his mum in the woods I look after ,the house is just too quiet it’s the first time in over 20yrs we don’t have a dog in the house and I just don’t like it we will defo get another,Sorry to derail this thread

So have any of you ever milled the top of a resin table instead of say router planing it I was wondering if the resin would like totaly blunt the band ,why I ask is that I have a yew table top with resin but when I was router planing it one side of my jig dropped and now it’s got quite a big round hole in it so I was thinking of strapping it to my mill and just taking a nice clean slice ,as usual keen to hear your thoughts Cheers Mark
