  1. I have an MS661 and got it because I needed a 36" bar for a big felling job, but I think it's underpowered. Maybe I'm biased as I'm a Husky man for most other saws. I'm sure it's possible to get a 395 and put an aftermarket 36" bar on it I'm sure it would handle it, others can correct me if I'm wrong!
  2. It will be a problem if they spread to your wood shed if built from wood or your house flooring !!
  3. Price range £12K to £20K for tippers - don't think this is what OP is looking for ...
  4. Business Grants Advisory Group Limited : Dissolved These are the closest names to "Business Grants" I could find. A lot of these types form a company, dissolve it when they have ripped off enough people, then form a new company with a slightly different name ... As MICK says you have been warned ! 😮😮😮💳💳💳🤡🤡🤡👹👹👹💷💷💷⛔️⛔️⛔️
  5. Director: Alexander James Clare
  6. report on "Business Grants Northwest Limited"
  7. Can also use it as a sledge hammer on splitting wedge, unlike most axes.
  8. Husqvarna Maul / Sledge Axe Looks identical to the Gransfors Bruks version except does not have metal collar to protect against overstrike. Under £100/- Gets thru pretty much anything. Swedish design narrow head but wide flare so does not often bounce off. http://www.skylandequipment.com/husqvarna-sledge-axe.html?gclid=CNz27Krx79ICFUa3GwodSJoE6g
  9. £50/- ? Maybe that's still a bit too steep 😆😜
  10. Don't see any mention of the Husqvarna handheld blower / vacs here .... anyone have one and how do you rate it?
  11. We have the bollard - not the winch - no complaints - it's a good piece of equipment, heavy though but can't be bothered with portawraps.
  12. I was quoted £1.5K by Trust for £5 mil public liability, Employers liability + tool cover £10K + hired in plant.
  13. Siddo, PM sent. Give me a call on 0788 649 9820 Brendan Tree Feller
  14. It's a reply to post by WillTimberlake on page 2 of the thread: "It's a fell and chip. Wouldn't need to sned it to get it through an ST6." Usually less time to do a job means more expensive kit e.g. Large chippers and /or more competent team, which all have to paid for out of somewhere.
  15. You won't pay off your finance on an ST 6 doing jobs for £50 mate 😮
  16. Carry a large ring of wood in the back of the truck, rest / wedge the ring on the tailgate, hammer log vice into the ring and sharpen away
  17. I Wish funding was reduced for parasite politicians by 10% per year instead of them awarding themselves a pay raise every year, cos the rest of the public sector like nurses are all getting pay raises 🤣 NOT ! 😡
  18. Ah in that case not sure 🤔 best to ask a dealer or greenmech when they're open tomorrow I guess Here's the link to the tech specs anyway for anyone else looking http://109.73.232.16/~green/wp-content/uploads/GreenMech_CS100_DS.pdf
  19. Check the tech specs on Greenmech website for all dimensions, weights etc.
  20. Or get a cambium saver that the rope fits thru !!
  21. I've had this type of thing more than once with car insurance. it's pretty much a scam by *some* insurance companies where they say you haven't sent certain documents or got some details wrong, when you haven't, then they wait til you are past the 14 day period then say they've received them (if you've had time to dig them out and send them) but due to some detail e.g. your named driver'a license date being slightly wrong (they THEY intentionally? got wrong, not you), your quote has now shot up by 20 - 40 % and you can't cancel without penalty cos you have gone beyond your 14 day period. These scum are as bad as common thieves ...
  22. Hello, I'm looking for an experienced contract climber with minimum CS30, 31, 38 and 39, + own saws, climbing gear and transport, on a part time sub-contract basis between now and Christmas for jobs located in and around Nottingham, as my usual climber is not available. I'm also looking for a part time groundsman, CS30 and CS31 preferred, experience good but not necessary, also for part time sub-contract basis for jobs in and around Nottingham between now and Christmas. Looking to get someone starting from next week if possible? Please respond by email: [email protected] or phone: 0788 649 9820 rather than Arbtalk message, thanks.
