  1. Depends which pickup. Mine you can take the back off and the lights stay on, if they don't then there is usually a plug somewhere to disconnect them. I would use this plug and maybe a bit of the old harness to rewire.
  2. 4.8 x 38 CSK TEK/WING DRILL SCREWS TIMBER TO STEEL BZP | eBay
  3. My cousin has the therma rosa with the boiler and he is pleased with his. I have the therma grande (think that is it's name) which I don't think they make any more. Great big thing that does all my cooking, DHW and central heating. Very good and was a fantastic price.
  4. Buy a file and have a go yourself. Just take it slow and use the existing angles on the blade as your guide. It's fairly easy and you've nothing to lose. Files are cheap enough. 5. Don't know if you ever did post it but just saying it didn't arrive here in case you were wondering where it got to. I was.
  6. Cut each side of the current hedge back by 2'. This will kill it probably but it will still be a good windbreak. Grow some clematis or honeysuckle up it to make it look pretty. I know that sounds stupid but it would work. I have some that decided to die after heavy topping. They are still there 10 years later and as a windbreak they are very good and zero maintenance.
  7. I was a rottweiler when I was younger
  8. Very dangerous as the 20 will slide down the barrel, put a 12g in behind it and the barrel or breech usually splits. People die from it.
  9. If you go to Asda they are selling their disposable BBQs off for 75p a go. Or just get a dry log and cut two or three cuts down it with the chainsaw (I use my sawbench) Don't know why you need anything more complicated other than charging a fortune for it.
  10. If you are cutting a metre off the top you will end up with a dead top, which will green over again in not too long a time. Unless it is less than 2 metres tall now it won't do any harm, have cut 20 metres off many times leaving only 2 metres or less and they grow back. It's surprising how hard you can be and not kill them. Cutting the side face too hard is a different matter. Just take a line and cut it to a level all the way along.
  11. I would drop my price by a tenner and double my adverts. See how he liked that.
  12. I like your tractor but not so sure about the potato masher.
  13. Thanks Katie. Hadn't thought of having two.
  14. If I did carry an epipen and did administer it how essential is the advised visit to a hospital? I am not going to go anywhere near a hospital unless on a stretcher tbh, not only that but I am most likely to be hours away from a hospital anyway. (not in UK)
  15. sorry if a repost
  16. I had one in my younger days, pretty much the same except it was an open lot and green rather than blue. Undercarriage was almost exactly the same. Used it for holidays rather than actually living in it but we travelled all over from Appleby down to Stow and North Wales.
  17. Nice wagon
  18. Chemicals called Laser (cycloxydim) and Fusilade (fluazifop-P-butyl) will kill just the grass.
  19. Dunno but it can't have been as bad as those poor buggers in Sussex. Sad day there. Sorry Jon, didn't mean to put a downer on your thread.
  20. Looks a nice tree and have to admit I mistakenly thought you said it was 15' tall. Still don't think I'd want it 15' from my wall but I assume you mean there is a 15' gap between the canopy and his wall as it must be touching it otherwise. Good luck either way.
  21. I wouldn't want one 15' from my house tbh.
  22. What do you do when you delegate safety and give clear concise instructions then to find them doing the opposite of what you told them. Happened to me today. Couldn't believe it! Tore a strip off them and told them I couldn't really understand why I hadn't sacked them.
  23. Does look to have been growing normally last year. Very odd unless poisoned I'd say.
  24. Gomtaro blades are fairly easily sharpened with a diamond feather blade off Amazon. You can make them sharper/ more aggressive than new if you want to. If any of you have old Gomtaro blades that you feel are too blunt would be very grateful for them and be happy to pay the postage. Or any other Silky blades as long as they aren't broken.
  25. I told the lads to fill it up, so they did.
