  1. I have no doubt this is the case, but while they may well have a lot of very happy customers I am certainly not one of them. I had given my opinion to the OP as he had asked me for a recommendation for sharpening specifically his CS100 knives. Regards, Steve.
  2. Probably best to put it back in the barn I'm sure Eddy T or similar will be along soon with something more helpful. Regards, Steve.
  3. Spud, I was basing this on the engine already achieving max rpm ie. limited coil, however if the engine rpm can be increased by producing more power then obviously throughput of air (on the blower side) will increase proportionately. Regards, Steve.
  4. The airflow (velocity and volume) is directly linked to engine rpm. If the engine is already achieving max rpm then no amount of extra power will make any difference, so drilling the exhaust will only serve to increase noise levels and void any warranty on the machine. Regards, Steve.
  5. On fleabay now GreenMech CS100 Wood chipper with trailer | eBay Regards, Steve.
  6. 4-5' diameter 18' long down 4 years but kept off the ground... Hoping the spalting's gone through but not turned to pulp, last one was soft in a lot of places. Regards, Steve.
  7. This afternoon picked up new 880, tomorrow morning 5' diameter Beech stem to ring up and it's been down 4 years If the middle's any good i'll mill it too:blushing: HP Super in all saws and anal about mixing and fresh fuel. Regards, Steve.
  8. Andy O'Neill is the name on the barrier behind. Regards, Steve.
  9. I'm on drt (ddrt) with a Spiderjack and always have a hand ascender on my harness. Use it when I feel lazy or with a long strop to my foot for free ascents to save my hands (climbing on Tachyon). I do have some reservations as to what the spikes do to the integrity of the rope however. Regards, Steve.
  10. Was driving show day (Saturday) but good to meet a few - Easilift Guy, Reg Coates (thought that guy was going to ask you for your autograph!) White Noise, Andy Collins, IC Trees, Rob Rainford and his mate Sam?, Eddy T, Flames and of course Steve B! Managed a scoop on the AT Osbourne stand and put a couple of faces to names elsewhere too. Missed Skyhuck and a few others but have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Silky Fox and Mendiplogs before. First time at an APF and will make the effort to join the Mr. Plogs' cizzer Barbie next time. Regards, Steve.
  11. Justin, Did see you there and having been to your stand at the AA show in 2013 it was nice this year to put a face to Chris' name. Please give him a pat on the back on Monday, he deserves it - he knows why.....every now and then an employee deserves recognition. That was on RobD's display (chainsawbars.co.uk), though not signed up as much. Regards, Steve.
  12. This all folks, or at least what I captured. My personal favourites are the Hakuna Matata bench and the auctioned bears' table - quality. I have never tried carving but I know I don't possess an ounce of these guys' talent. Regards, Steve.
  13. Ok, bear with me while I try to upload this lot Regards, Steve. This is taking forever, apologies.
  14. Can't remember if it was £2000 or £2100, was an APF director who won, nice piece though... Regards, Steve.
  15. Visitor information page... Site Address is : APF 2014, Ragley Estate, Alcester, Warwickshire B49 5PS. Regards, Steve.
  16. Not quite the same but I have the 150 road tow which I cannot fault. The 160 should be an even better machine and I believe they all now have a toothed top feed roller as well. If you're going up to the show AT Osbourne are up there and are the people to speak to. Regards, Steve.
  17. By the time the APF finishes the drawbridge will be up and you won't be allowed home
  18. Where is the Arbtalk stand? Can't see it on the layout map or the list of exhibitors. Regards, Steve.
  19. Don't know about milling but a local guy took a piece off me whilst felling one day and turned this..... Did the crane struggle with those pieces? Regards, Steve.
  20. Saturday for me, too busy in work Thurs/Fri Regards, Steve.
