  1. Really liking that, thanks for posting. Regards, Steve.
  2. Took a few rings off the ends first but there's definitely a table in there Regards, Steve.
  3. What are you doing on your last day of work? Big blowjob Amounting to 18 builder's ton bags of sawdust and that's without noodling the 6' rings...... Site cleared by 12 o'clock, invoice in by email and customer gratuities dropped off - just the Christmas shopping to do and 'yes dear, i'll look after the kids' I hate Christmas, I'm not religious so why should I celebrate it? Why spend all that money buying presents for people you hardly ever see or don't even like because of a religious festival? If it wasn't for appeasing the family I'd be working tomorrow. Bah Humbug rant over
  4. Thanks both, the customer wants something made of it so have a turner coming to site in the morning to see what's best to take then will carry on ringing up till we get to some decent timber. Regards, Steve.
  5. Dropped this on Friday and would like to have a go on Tuesday. Current set up is 36" Alaskan but have a 72" rail set turning up tomorrow, saw is MS880 with standard 48" bar. Question is which one to have a go at? Butt is 6'4" diameter and the rot goes about 5' up I think, upper stem next to it is 43" but not sure of all the limbs coming off it. Any thoughts please. Regards, Steve.
  6. Many thanks all for your replies, I've just got back to the computer and a quick search came up with something from another forum that ties in with what has been said that the later 550XP changed back to the earlier 346XP clutch design for quicker acceleration. cgs - is that you Mr. F? Will give Rhys a call in the morning, he was off the radar for this as it's a fair drive just for a tiny spring but I know i'll end up spending more Regards, Steve.
  7. Had a clutch spring go today on a 2012 550XP. Phoned local dealer who said according to Husky data sheet it's the two flat spring type (like the 346) and I said no it's definitely a three piece with three coiled springs. Dealer then asked me if I was sure it is a 550XP? Dealer phoned back later and said he'd found a clutch like mine but it is for a 560XP. Can anyone shed any light on this please? Are they interchangeable? Regards, Steve.
  8. There are a few owners on here, I've got the 14T with 4-way head and it's fine. Regards, Steve.
  9. Very nice, reminds me of one a friend of mine turned - he stuck some crap in it which sets it off nicely. Regards, Steve.
  10. Hold out for a 3 litre (35c14), pulls like a train which is handy if you're fully loaded with a reasonable size chipper or full 3.5T trailer. Regards, Steve.
  11. Sorry to hear that, hope you get sorted soon. Bit far away and no powerpack but I can lend you my 14T KTM if that helps. Regards, Steve.
  12. So I'd be looking at just over a grand a week plus delivery unless I collect. Many thanks.
  13. Jake, How far did 60 sheets get you? I'm looking at a roadway of 150m across a lawn to take the (never knowingly overloaded) tipper. Regards, Steve.
  14. Trailer or chipper? Chipper is horses for courses - indispensable on the right job but this one's only been out once or twice this year. To be honest a little extra drag to get to an 8" machine is often worth it. Regards, Steve.
  15. Thought they were £850+VAT:confused1: check with PeteB. 4" angle with internal spacing (between upstands) of 30" cost me £120 to build with brand new parts and can load on my own. Many others have gone down the route of plant roller trailers - apparently they're just the right size. Regards, Steve.
  16. Yep, they've pulled it Say's it all, doesn't it? You report an item as being a fake, dangerous to human life, stolen or a scam and they don't do a thing, just ignore you. Tell them they won't make as much money on a listing and they're all over it like a rash Did it's job though, looks like it's selling this weekend:thumbup1:. Oh well, revised listing tonight then. Regards, Steve.
  17. Slasherscott - the ad was placed on Arbtrader before Ebay as I guess you've seen:thumbup1:. Skyhuck and Wrnsi - I agree with you both, I do indeed have issues with Ebay as they have seriously wronged me before on my personal account and although that does not make it right I do not feel unduly bad. Renewablejohn - My question 'wasn't you was it?' was merely facetious and as such should have been followed by a smiley for clarity:blushing:. I feel the title of the advert and it's first line are quite clear about exactly what the auction is for. I appreciate that I wrote the ad, but I can't read it in any way that suggests that the winner of the auction for the photo has any rights, advantageous or otherwise, to purchase the machine that I am willing to sell. Kind regards, Steve.
  18. Me too Wasn't you was it ? Now you've got me thinking....Maybe I should revise the listing to add the frame as an extra - please see my other items for sale Regards, Steve.
  19. TP150 wood chipper (photo) | eBay I thought it was quite clear but hey-ho wonder how much it'll go for - I can take plenty more photos
  20. Oh it's ok, I've already spoken to the Council and they're fine with it.... Definitely no TPO's in this garden and besides I planted that tree myself (pointing to a 150+ year old Oak) Nahhh, the CA boundary's a bit further down the road One I can't claim but was on here a while ago - Isn't the disabled boy with the calipers on his legs doing well up there
  21. Zubat (curved) stays behind as I much prefer Tsurugi (straight). It's the one with a narrow point and finer teeth so ideal for getting in between unions for pruning cuts and also more accurate gobs. Regards, Steve.
  22. TP200 has been proven since about '98 and only this year is being revamped. Just picked one up (turntable) to replace the 150 and they're about 1650 kg. The new TP210 will be like a bigger version of the 160, straight feed from behind, turntable option and later on a track machine too. Speak to Mark Osborne for more details. Regards, Steve.
  23. Can do 4,6 or 8" in Barry/Cardiff but only with operator. Give me a call in the morning if interested 07734 943570. Regards, Steve.
