  1. Anybody ever ever cut a groove in one of these flywheels with integral key? Its a flymo/mcculloch/electrolux/husky job. Part no. Is FLY5382437738.Cant even seem to find one for sale. Its really obscene that if it shears you buy a new flywheel at silly money when with the old style you'd replace the key for a quid. Its my own and i just wonder how you go about cutting that groove in the flywheel. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Could be idle speed set a bit low. You can take it up to just below point of clutch engagement. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. I'd try richening the mix (not sure what carb on there but often anti clockwise on the H screw) in small increments as a first move in case somebody has adjusted (played) with it. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. Apparently and for information TK carbs should pop off at 18psi Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Am guessing here. Sounds like more pressure in tank? Is the tank venting ok? What happens if you leave cap off over night? To treat the symptom is there room for a fuel shut off valve in the line? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app

  10. Engine to Deck Spacers? The blade holding disc assembly is finished on a Rover esxl.Trying blade adaptors with standard type blades (not the disc setup) the blades are sitting beneath the deck skirt. What spacers do you use to raise the engine to avoid this? Bought?Home made?Or is there a very short blade adaptor? Cheers Ps are these disc assemblies for Rovers still available? Would need the boss adaptor part replaced too. Cheers Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app

  15. Sounds like fuel starvation.is the carb adjusted H&L to give you a fighting chance? Didn't realise brake cleaner was less aggressive than carb cleaner Bill? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Sealing a crankcase oil leak from outside? Oil leaking from where sump meets rest of engine.is there a sealant like dirko?????? That can be applied externally.bit of a non economical performance to split this engine. Any ideas? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Have put up a couple of box profile sheds with it using the hex screw things.Laid several tongue and groove floors-driving 3" screws into plugs/concrete.built the interior of the workshop -6" screws into workbenches and now using it to strip components .hate the thought of having batteries degrade with time. This has a good long lead.Best purchase for years. Diy and small engine stuff. The bits will be used on small engines.a lot of strimmers use t25 and whilst i love my T handle gedore t25 driver once youve used the impact driver its tempting to stick with it. Ps i bought a milwaukee bits set which is quality too.
  18. Nothing wrong with your recco doobin.appreciated and now ordered.i was unsure if using 'silver' bits was ok with impact tools.my impact sockets are all black but then with torx bits the use is different i guess.so thank you.any further thoughts on these bits welcome.cheers Sent from my SM-N9005 using Arbtalk mobile app
