  1. Your hand looks like it's healing nicely from the pics mrs P Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Timbrel is being banned/withdrawn next year I found out today, after that the usual 12 month rule applies Time to stock up I think Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Yes, same crank case, there is usually a minor difference, but it's usually to stop people slamming a bigger P&C on it, it's also shared with the 210 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Local dealer actually, they pretty much give me free run of the shop when I need parts, including the stihl ordering website, which I'm apparently not supposed to see, which details parts, the stihl selling price and retailer price, which, given the fact that they're cheaper than L&S, and they still mark up 15% of the stihl price for parts, whilst dropping 20% on machinery and still take a fair cut Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Thought you'd came out last year? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Yes the dealers get the items for about 50-60% of the rrp, with parts they then mark it up with a further price Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. That I would like to see, and help stuffing them in there Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. I meant largest size, j'red used to make a 2095 (394/5xp) but husky scrapped it, the 2188 isn't available here, the largest is the 372 equivalent Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Legs are for wimps! I know it can lock up with the compression, but unfortunately I'm tall, starting the 090 and holding that damn button in does my back in! Drop starting is not an option on that (well it is if I have a stock of starter rings) To the OP, what starter assembly do you have on your saw, as the rings are NLA for the saws, only the newer starter Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. What's vintage? I run my 090, 051 and 020avs plus my 1972 weedeater blower on aspen, I'd say they're vintage, no dead saws yet Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. It would be nice, even jonsered are dumbed down to just the 390xp/2188, it would be nice if husky gave its companies a chance to make pro-saws again Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. They won't have a proper woods saw, it's a rebranded 445 husky Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. eBay is better for NOS parts, being as stihl likes to obsolete the most random but vital parts! Such as a flywheel crank seal, but sells every other damn part, otherwise I have to get parts shipped from Germany Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. What the hell is that crazy attachment on it? Where can I get one for my 020AVS I wonder? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Haven't you fixed that 372 before spud? I'm guessing that specific saw is a regular on your bench?! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. I've sent you a pm with the ipl Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Tbf it's not what I've gotta do, as I said, I've given it to an engineer to sort out, I had a go, I gave it him, it's his job to sort it, I had always thought chainsaw guide bars were hardened mild steel or a bit better (certainly Oregon/husqvarna bars are made of mild steel, if not pure iron!). Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. An ultra-refined, modified hydrocarbon fuel, which gives the fuel stability and a more consistent flash/ignition point Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Star Wars is awesome! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

I have to agree with you lot, if it was the other way round, would they rescue our soldiers? Especially as al-queda have videoed prisoners being executed! For all they knew, he could have had a grenade, not worth wasting a first aid kit on them and risking our soldiers Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Strangely, despite mine being a few months older or younger than yours was, it's still going strong, and still on its first brake band, starter and all the other bits now swapped under warranty/fitted as standard Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Hmm it seems the arb world is in a major decline! Few months ago a bloke fancied his groundy, now this, personally I'd demote your groundy to brash dragger, and dock him a weeks pay, and give him a written warning! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. So do I, and we both collect and repair chainsaws... Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. Never said he didn't, the bloke definitely knows his stuff, but you can still develop bad habits Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Just because people have done things for a long time doesn't make it correct, my boss saws as he uses a chainsaw! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
