    Had a play with the 051, flys through wood when leant on! Need to fabricate a bracket at the front of the saw to mount a hand guard/chainbrake though the hand guard and brake assembly ain't cheap! Also need a clutch removal tool, and yes, I already tried the screwdriver and lump hammer trick, tried to make a tool from a combi spanner and swearing loudly, none of the 3 worked so I'm gonna have to delve into my bank...     Right then, by all you old fart's classification I am a 'youngster', I use the brake on my saws fitted with them when I move more than a couple of paces, when I set the saw down whilst idling or, most importantly, when climbing, such saws as my 090 and 051 never use the brake, mostly as it ain't there, but as time goes on, I find I use the brake less and less Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Still available in some of the South American countries, I believe I saw them on a Peru or Chilean website, in fact there were a lot of 'old' saws listed on the site that were new Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Whilst it may not be the case, it's entirely plausible, when you think that pump fuel degrades plastics, one molecule per micrometer per year isn't a lot, but 4 years on, with a few inches of fuel line, you only need one molecule to stick in the wrong place to cause a build-up, especially with the main solvent removed, but most would pass through the combustion chamber. I often wonder if you were able to remove the pump fuel in the aspen demo kit what would happen to the dissolved (and precipitated) packing foam, would it set, or remain in a fluid state, and surely this must happen inside the carb?     I have found polymer precipitate in carbs before, so I would assume the petrol has attacked the fuel lines and carb diaphragms, and using aspen has caused it to collect on a single area, in your case the needle, I have found it on jets, the throttle butterfly and on the needle arm spring before Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
