  1. It's a 70cc saw with more torque than a 60cc saw, also it has larger mounts for larger bars, but the 560 revs higher and runs a faster chain speed Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. I'll take a guess at about £2-3k, a lot of the equipment would have been uneconomic for a dealer repair, and in the case of the 090, they legally couldn't work on it apparently, so I'd have had to buy an ms880 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Nope, a yard full of BSJA riders has nothing on this place... And FTR the equine world is just as bad as us lot for making obscene comments, if not worse, anyone with a partner who has horses should be able to confirm this... Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Definitely saves a lot of money, in the case of my 090, it means it runs, rather than scrapped, I saved about £300 on my 357xp, god knows how much I've saved with my 200t, hs45, ht75, 343r brushcutter, weedeater blower, chipper, 650k disc cutter, plus other stuff too! 5. Will be an interesting one Eddie, make sure you get some photos for your book ready for the APF next year I'm going to guess at something simple and a 5 min job. Marc, I do recommend you read the bench thread though, when I first started on this site, I could only do basic maintenance, now I have rebuilt several machines and starting another at the end of the month Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. You need a new repair dealer, or alternatively, read the ENTIRE 'what's on my bench thread' and learn to do your own servicing, I would assume though for £40 he'll take the carb off and clean it, new carb kit, fuel filter, possibly fuel lines, check the carb boot and retune after reassembly. Where are you based? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. You obviously didn't look hard enough on here, there's a whole damn thread, and stop getting hung up on 'its only 2 years old', I've had year old machines where the fuel lines, carb diaphragms have split, alternatively, I have a 44 year old saw, and the only part degraded in its lifespan is the oil pump diaphragm, do I blame aspen? No! It's one of those things in this job where a lot of the parts are consumable parts! Also, if your dealer wants £40 for a retune, you need a better dealer, mine tunes my machines for free, it's a 5 minute job Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

So we shouldn't make any innuendo or sexual reference, just because she is female? In that case we best remove 50% of the threads on this forum so we can't offend anyone. It amazes me, the first people to complain about discrimination are always those it has nothing to do with! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Discrimination? That means using a feature to imply a weakness, what I posted would be harassment, but as a joke, as I would NOT expect a new member (male or female) to join and post photos of themselves in their underwear, I often wonder if half the users on here just look for an argument?! And if anyone wants to comment upon my previous post, I would do the same as I said, be it a joke or not. This is a forum made up of arborists, who drink, smoke, swear and fart a reasonably large percentage of the time, stupid comments and nob-gags will be made, rightly or wrongly, get of your high horses, rather than creating a debate, a simple 'little uncalled for' or 'too far' comment would be acceptable rather than turning the thread into a debate Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

She'll have to post a pic of herself in just underwear so we can decide what will look best on her Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  15. Try mikercike on here, he is based in South Wales, he might be able to have a look Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. All that would happen is it would be a little rich on idle Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. No, but aspen needs to be tuned richer on the L screw, and yours is probably set a little lean on normal fuel, hence the reluctance to start Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Really? You find the m-tronic easier? It's just the old husky AT stuff Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Generally, pump petrol rots any plastic bits, but the petrol keeps it in the right shape / flexibility, switching to aspen on a machine that has been run on pump fuel for a while can cause these things to shrink or stiffen, so you'll either need to retune or get a new carb kit Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Try again Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Back on my bench, the 090! Not oiling at full throttle, meaning an air leak, as the oiler is driven by a crank impulse, and guessing as it's 44 years old, I would guess the fuel has eaten the pump diaphragm, as the manual oiler part works... One more reason for aspen I suppose! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Duct tape, then you can wrap the whole thing Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. Was gonna say, the amount of non-uk stocked parts I've ordered in is unbelievable, but if they want to stop that from happening, they best make every part available in every country! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. I should also point out when I say large, the Rowan are between 18-24" at ground height, I was sat on a machine when I took the photos Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
