  3. Well the seller isn't asking much then is he, and besides, he will get just under £65 after eBay take their cut Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Air-line it after the cleaner, you'll also need a tachometer to check the rpm at full tilt out of the cut, it's a very fine line between just right and too lean, it would have to be set WAY to rich for it to die under cut, did you wind the screws all the way in till they stopped? The factory setting is 1 on H and 3/4 on L (or the other way round), so that's all the way in, then 1 full turn anti-clockwise Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. No, the clutch wouldn't cause it to die in the cut, sounds like the carb needs tuning, when you put it in the US cleaner, did you remove the carb needle screws? As it sounds like either a blockage leaning the mix too much, or it's far too rich, flooding the engine on restart Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  8. The policy doesn't work, it only works for those willing to comply, secondly stihl only makes certain parts available in certain countries, which, trust me, is very annoying when rebuilding an old machine, such as an 090 or 051 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  15. If the coil was buggered then the carb will need taking to a dealer to be plugged in, the 'beauty' of a computer carb, if any electrical part goes, it's gonna have a knock on effect, just like cars Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. The IED vid is the best rich! And Barrie, click on rich's name, and click the word 'unfollow' or 'unsubscribe' Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  18. No, I'd use cardboard over the grass, then cover it in rotted wood chip (see thread to mulch or not to mulch) Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. 5 years stored correctly (out of direct sun, in a cool place) Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Use a selective herbicide such as 2-4-D Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Ah, learnt something new there then, along with don't bother ringing stihl uk technical dept as they really are not useful what so ever Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  25. Start by having it die, do what Gary says, if you have a spark, undo the fuel cap and refit, then try to start it, if neither of these are the culprit, pull the plug and exhaust and have a look in the exhaust port, if that's all shiny and bright, it's the carb end!
