  1. So, based on common faults of the 200t, it's either for the pump piston, the stupid little black limiters or something for the oil pump Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Be careful what you offer there! You might end up receiving a 5' bar in the post to drill holes in! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. No, go play with them, and then buy your favourite Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. That's what I mean, you can't fine someone for using a machine when in the past they were designed for ground use Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. It contains fake tan? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. That's for oaks and stuff, when I used my 236 for felling Corsicans, it almost had no depth gauge left, those models of huskys/rebrands have a fair bit of pull for a cheap, crappy saw Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Haha you know I'm joking, hell, without that thread I wouldn't have the arsenal of rebuilt monsters I have today Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. Personally I recon it's scaremongering to get us to buy more saws, although I don't need the encouragement to buy more, already have 9 saws, 3 of which are toppers Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Tbh I tend to file it down with the gauge and then give it 2 more rubs with the file so it's more of .7-.75, the higher depth gauges stop the chain cutting, and at that length it's a pita as you cut nothing Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Just out of interest, where does this stand on the 020av, which was sold as the hobby saw on that model, the 07/08 models, 009-012 models, as all of those class as top handles, but were sold for ground use, rendering the fine void Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Shed loads here, but you've left it too late in the year Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. 20 micro is a bit anal, if you did that, you'd never accept any bar! On a flat table is enough Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. This is a good bar Note the rails are the same width And the bar curves up in to the centre Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Angle looks fine, rail looks a bit worn on the one side (top edge in the pic) which would cause the banana cut Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Well I got a real cheap one, thinking it would last half the time of the husky, but the bar only got replaced a few months ago, make being Jakmax, but otherwise try rob d's website http://www.chainsawbars.co.uk Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Holy shi... That's a MASSIVE cep! Bet that's gonna need a lot of rope to dry! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Really 25:1 and only XP oil? Personally I dumped the 25:1 mix my dealer put in, and the saw is on aspen now, but stihl red is fine in a saw, as for tick over and gentle use, you get glazed bores and a lower compression! Modern engines are designed to be ran as normal from the word go, if not a new saw would be pointless in our industry, too much down time bedding the saw in! If the 25:1 was important, neither manufacturer would offer the extended warranty of a saw run solely on aspen either. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. The saw is basically a husky 235, it runs a Oregon 91 chain, so it's 3/8 mini, it requires a 5/32 file (4mm diameter) and sharpened at 30 degrees, same as the mcculouch bar is a Oregon bar, the bar wears extremely fast (on my 236 it lasted 3 weeks) so I'd recommend getting a better bar (not Oregon). Also check the dog spikes, they're prone to working loose or bending, which pivots the saw in the cut. Oil in the clutch means it's not getting to the bar, the clutch covers are problematic and warp easily, check for excess wear on the brake band. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Windy here Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. The mediacat stuff only goes back that far too, stihl doesn't have the ipl for the contra or blitz online Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. You still got any copies of mediacat? Or the longer 090 W/S manual? Cheers Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. The husky ipl's can be found on the husky website Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
