  1. It was late 11 early 12 at a guess so they may have improved them since then. It was yes, fairly chalky to be fair but the bloke selling them (obviously) said they would be fine. If they have improved them then good but first impressions were not so good for me is all I'm saying Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. So I'm looking at getting a pickup in the near future and have my eyes set on a hilux, unless anyone can really rate any others eg ford ranger, l200? Also what are people's thought between 2 and 4 wheel drive? Would like the 4 wheel drive cab and a half or double cab as it will be my only vehicle for a while but on the other hand I'm thinking a 2 wheel drive will be cheaper all round with more carrying capacity. Just wondered what other people thought? Cheers in advance Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. No they were fitted by a bloke post saver recommended and they peeled off. My self and my boss at the time didnt rate them at all, we read all the faQ's and though we would give then a go cause they sounded a good product but saddle they didn't perform as expected. Better off with creo in my opinion Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. As far as the post saver is concerned...unless you driving your posts into really soft ground there not really any good as they just peel off as you knock the post in Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

From what I hear they are a good saw but why limit what I can do by stating to cut no more than 4"? If you've payed the money then why not make the most of it. Granted I'm only a novice but I use a silky for up to 4" so what's the point in the extra expense on one of these or similar if im gonna put a limit of 4" on it? I have the small echo which is similar to this and I use that for up to 10"ish, yeah it's a little slower but much easier and less labour Intensive that lugging a 200 about up the tree and if I could make it faster then I would Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. I bought my old man this one as he kept doing his self a mischief with the axe and its been brilliant, cannot fault it at the price, the old dear will even go out splitting logs now haha. I personally think that they are very good, there never going to make you a fortune if used for fire wood production as they are a little slow but for the odd load and just splitting logs for home there good. http://100.al-ko.com/uk/al-ko-horizontal-wood-splitter-khs-5200-5-tonne-includes-stand.html Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  10. I've heard a lot of very bad things from my local fa dealer about the t8, most problems seem to stem from not being able to dismantle to clean and also getting stuck on the gun. Another thing he said is that apparently it's classed as a disposable silencer? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Don't know if its the same for anyone else but I can't for the life of me play bo2, I just die yet Im pretty good on mw3, quite often go 25+-0. Anyone else like this? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  13. Mushrooms are a good place to start and look on youtube for videos of what you wish to carve to get the idea in your head of roughly what cuts to make, that's how i started and seemed to work quite well for me Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Been out

Since seeing biffy live as a support act for the foo's I've been hooked, such a good live band!! And about the whole going out thing, my local had a beer fest on over the weekend and I took a trip down this aft...needless to say I'm a tad more than half cut haha Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Mine went a few weeks back and my local dealer did it under warranty no questions asked, also told me that the saw has a 2 year warranty so if it goes again in the next 14months they said they will do the same again Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. I got approached by a "tree surgeon" one day that asked if I did big trees? To which I replied "yes, I deal with any and all sorts of trees" "excellent, ill take your number cause we just specialise in small trees" he replied. I wondered weather he should be changing his name to bonsai tree carry haha. Another thing to add is he was one of those un liked caravan dwellers Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  20. Thank you . I had a long think into the best and cheapest way to get set up and came to the conclusion that this wa the solution Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Got a little bit further yesterday, hopefully in the next week I shall have the sides plated and on and it should also be tipping , lucky really as I've got a nice job coming up soon Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. That is very impressive!! I thought of something similar a few weeks ago only difference being I wanted to base the shape on that of a wheelbarrow, those who have sat in an up ended wheelbarrow will understand how comfy they are and those that haven't should! Haha Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. I got a 550xp from jonsie at the apf last year and its a belter!! Yeah it's a bit temperamental on hot starts and I had a break band go but my local dealer did it under warranty no questions asked. It really is well worth getting, I run mine (against what most say) with an 18" bar and it doesn't struggle with that really, even pulls the 18 better than the guys at works ms 341 with 16"!! 24. Saw that little thing at the arb show, looks like some sort of toy you'd buy for your kid haha Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Looks lie some sort of velociraptor pen from Jurassic park haha, pretty impressive though!
