  1. As far as I know the older rodeo like this one didn't come in the extra cab model but the new dmax does, looks smart too! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Well...I bit the bullet this morning and purchased an 06 with 82k, 12 months mot and warranty and 6 months tax. Cannot wait to pick her up on Tuesday Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Pretty certain as it's a cummins it'll be a 5.9l 6 cylinder engine and a great engine at that!! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Show off! Haha, it's not too far off the mark then really, just a shame about the service history but we shall see No worries Gary, thank you for all the info Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Just out of curiosity how much is yours worth if you don't mind me asking as the one I've been looking at is on an 04 and is 6k inc vat, only real problem is I believe there is little or no service history , it is only a thought at the moment though, the same place also has an 07 ranger with full service history and only 72k for only 1k ish more so we shall see Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Please bare with me as I know questions have been asked previously about this truck but what are people's opinions? I only ask as I have seen one for sale 5 miles away from me that looks pretty smart and I don't think the price is all that bad but it's got 109k on the clock. Would this be too much mileage to put any of you off or are they good for more? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Just seen this on the bay, thought it post it incase anyone was interested http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Holder-Compact-Timber-Tractor-With-Winch-/271314830369?pt=UK_BOI_FarmingEquipment_RL&hash=item3f2b9fc421 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. Haha sorry fella and glad it's worked out well 👍 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. The calculation works differently for different sizes so what's right for one size isn't forced to be right for another Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. In that case then and by my calculations 235 70 16 will come in at exactly the same diameter as 235 75 15 so you'll be fine, no need to reset the speedo and won't alter the gearing at all 👍 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Ahh okay well if your not after a bigger looking wheel then you could do the math and get as close to the original size as you can. If you put your tyre size here I can probs work it out for you as best as possible Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. I'll agree with all that has been said above Really wasn't too far out with my explanation was I Martin hahaha Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. The speedo will need to be reset as I did a similar thing to my jimny. What do you aim to achieve by fitting bigger wheels? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Looking good 👍, what are the implications of a DIY splice when it comes to loler? Have always wanted to give it a go but worry it's against h and s or something , also...is there any particular way to stitch once the splice is finished? I may have a play some time Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Jim Kendal at lts, the best I can say is give him a call and have a chat, as I say, he's got the kit you require and he's relatively local so I'm sure he could help out, if not he's fairly well connected so may be able to suggest someone else. Hope all this helps Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. I'm sure others will be on talking about it, seen it mentioned in several threads before which convinced me to buy it. Cheers man, it's working a real treat so far, a couple of little tweaks to make but then nothing's perfect haha all that's really needed is a bigger truck but hopefully getting that on Monday Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Very good book, would highly recommend it! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Give lincs trees a call, they have a Valtra with botex and timber trailer. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. So today is Halloween and I've been working in a graveyard (not sure many people can say that haha), started playing about with the phone camera at dinner and tried to do a panoramic shot of the site when this happens... Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. A place I sub too had an extra leaf fitted to the original springs, does the job very well, doesn't look like there's much in it when it's got a full load on, failing that you could try these http://www.upcountry4x4.co.uk/toyota_hilux/powerspring-suspension-kit-mad.asp They seem a reasonable price for what they are. 21. How can you judge a product if you have no first hand experience with It? I think the reviews kind of speak for them selfs. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. I have a skylotec and have tried a tree motion and comfort wise I don't really think there's a lot in it, the only gripe I have about the skylotec is that it seems a bit large and clumsy and in tighter spaces I get snagged a bit, the tree motion felt a bit more refined if you know what I mean Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Had mine since the apf and they have been brilliant. Really comfy and warm, very waterproof and seem to be lasting well, I would definitely recommend them. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. I don't think it's a case of adding a price for the kit, it's more a case of the correct kit means the need for less men and less time on the job, money is pretty much the same no matter which way you look at it in my opinion Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Stick to your guns, doesn't sound too expensive to me. I have seen this sort of thing many a times at the end of big jobs with a company I sub too. Get a large tree down and cleared up in a day, maybe a £1000 job for arguments sake and all the client see is that 3 guys took a tree down in a day and cleared up and they want £1000 for it, what they don't take into account is the transit, tracked 190, cabstar mewp, Valtra with botex roof mount a 12 ton grain trailer, grain trailer of chip and grain trailer of logs. It all ads up but most clients never see or take that side of the job onboard when there questioning the price Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
