  1. Please excuse the silly question but figured this was the only way to find out. I'm contemplating changing the bar and chain on my echo cs260 for the one that's run on the ms150 tce just to make it a little easier on the engine but was unsure if it would fit or not? 2. That must be it, you need 6 stihl's and only one husky hahaha Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. I shall take it to my local dealer as soon as possible and see what he says. Would be a bonus if I could use it, even if its not as good as newer saws, it's still a good saw and in great condition for its age Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Bah well, I shall still be on the hunt for a chain break though I think, sounds sweet when it's running Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. The second pic has to be a rose amongst thorns? Hahaha Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Hmmmm worth a look!! Don't spose anyone on here's got one knocking about? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Not so sure I'm that lucky haha. I was over the moon when she fired up, can't see it being used for anything though as no chain break, unless it would be any good on a mill? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. Went to pick up a lathe for someone this afternoon and the bloke gave me an old saw he had in his shed, it soon became apparent that it was a decent saw that hadn't done a lot of work as he was walking down the garden with it, it's an 041 av. Got it home, have it a quick clean and some fresh fuel and she fire up on the second pull!! , it's almost immaculate apart from the bar and chain as the sprocket is literally brand new! Shame it hasn't got a chain break though . What do you think? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Audi s3? Mine is incredible and gives me around 35-40mpg. 210bhp and 4wd so pretty much the same as the r32 just minus the sound of a v6 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. To make that a fair fight so to speak the ported 200 should be pitted against a ported 540 shouldn't it? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Ill take a punt at h7 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Just my 2pence worth but I've got a little echo cs280wes as a detailing saw and cannot fault it. Similar power, weight and size as the stihl ms150c and at around £300 with a cannon bar not a bad price either, if you have a word with rob d at chainsawbars he can sort you out with a 1/4 sprocket now as well Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. I shall get some pic up as soon as I've got something to show haha, some time this week I hope Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Same here, nothing I enjoy at the moment than chucking some headphones in and going down the garden to see what I can do Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Ahh so not long then, hope I'm as good as that at that point!! My main problem is getting the timber Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  18. No worries and I completely agree with you, although only a young un at 25 I have had a full firearms certificate since the age of 18 and have always been very serious about shooting and the dangers. I have seen so many unsafe people using firearms and shot guns, ive even completely refused to associate my self with a select few I found them to be that un safe Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. A rather large lump of clay should do the trick to demonstrate the power exerted in a target after the initial penetration, once cut open you'll be able to show them the absolute devastation a bullet has when inside something Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Any ideas when the sprockets will be available for purchase rob? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. I too havent been doing it long but the best advice i can give is just grab a saw and a lump of wood and use your imagination!! There are no limits or rules and if you make a mistake just start again. Always leave more than you think you need to. Something that helped me get started and build a bit if confidence was watching me vids on YouTube. Just go for it!! Mushrooms are a good starting point. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Anyone got any updates? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
