  1. So I've had another go at some carving today and I did an owl. Now before anybody says anything...I am well aware that the little chap has club foot haha but for my first attempt at an owl and only my 5th ever carving I'm very pleased with how it turned out, took me just under 2 hours. Honest opinions and constructive criticism will be gratefully received Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. I'm almost welling up after reading this, really sorry to hear it mate, dogs truly are a mans best friend!
  3. That bottom one is almost identical to one just down the road from me, absolutely love it!
  4. Have only been climbing since November so not masses of experience but I moved to hc and vt pretty quickly and can't fault it, been using Marlow friction chord which is cheap to put it bluntly but I get on with it really well and very rarely doesn't grab when I sit back, thing I like the most about the vt is that with sufficient rope weight you can just overhand pull the rope down and through the hitch removing the need to tend slack making ascending and returning from a limb walk a doddle which for a novice such as my self is perfect.
  5. Is this that absolute bargain of a chipper you got on eBay? I may just have to try this with my m500
  6. I use the stein phantom and honestly can't fault them, feet are never hot or cold and there very comfortable, I believe mr bullman also has a pair and gets on with them well.
  7. Anyone think they may be keeping it quiet for a grand un veiling at the arb show? Hahaha it is a possibility though?
  8. I've given up waiting I think, ill just get the ms205t when it comes out...
  9. Sweet, will see you there than fella Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  11. Haha cheers mike but not sure I'm at the teaching stage yet, just a bit of something to do on a weekend when I'm not working. Alls pretty good at the moment fella, how's things with you? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Thought I'd have a go at one of these today, didn't do too bad I don't think (still needs ears), considering I've only done 2 mushrooms and a stool before I tried this, did take me 3-3.5hrs though haha, oh well, I can only get faster Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Ahh so I couldn't actually fit a 24" to it if I wanted too then?
  14. Ahh okay, may just have a play when warranty runs out
  15. I'm not sure Jon, shall see if I can post a link
  16. How would I go about doing this muffler mod? Another argument I have is that the 3120 is twice the size of the 560 and is happy running a 44-48" bar
  17. Now bare with me here guys, I know the majority here wouldn't even consider it but have been watching some vids on YouTube, one in particular where a bloke has a comp between 361, 560, 372 and 440. He uses the same 25" bar and chain on each and cuts the same piece of timber, the times are as follows 361=36seconds 560=33seconds 372=36seconds 440=30seconds Seeing these times would you consider running a 24" bar on a 560? Or would you still consider max bar to be 18? Something else I have found is that my 550 running an 18 cuts faster than 361 with a 16 hence why I am considering it but thought I would get some input from others before I make the decision
  18. The only thing I can think is its to cut out mortar in buildings without a spec so you can put one in and re mortar?
  19. Was looking at the blue one the other day, if I had the money if be snapping his hand off!! Not often you come across a hilux tipper let alone ones as tidy as these two
  20. How about a hilux or l200 etc with a pro tipper?
  21. She's a beauty, one of my favourite off road vehicles in that model:thumbup:
  22. Really like this idea. How long before dmm see this and release an exact replica of the one pictured above?
  23. And also I'm in no hurry so thinking of waiting till the arb show in June to see if I can get a bargain or two I like shiny new stuff haha
  24. Have been looking at the ms211, same weight as the 181 but a bit more power and I shall certainly be speaking to rob at chainsaw bars when I get a saw sorted, have also considered the small echo rear handle, anyone got any experience with that one? I have the little echo topper and that's spot on hence considering the rear handle
