  1. They love conifer! When i had mine i found it was pretty much as quick as your average 6" towalong machine, provided the material was in nice straight lengths, like coni, Would just whip them through in the blink of an eye. Once you get the hang of using your hand as anti-stress they become an excellent tool. Really regret selling mine to be honest. The only one niggle i had was you had to make sure all material was clear before shutting it down, other wise you could find it jammed when trying to start it the next time. Many times i found myself climbing inside with a torch to free a jammed twig or stub that had got caught. Best bet was to leave it running for a couple of mins after you have finished to clear it right out. Have fun with it!
  2. Wonder what Hoof and Safety would say about it though?
  3. Mane thing is it works
  4. Scudo / Expert / Dispatch, all the same van (few minor engine differences) but nice little vans that hold a lot more than they look like they will. I had 2 in the past, found them good on fuel, 3 seats in front is handy also, 1.9 turbo was the best I found and good on insurance. Down side is locks tend to fail after a while, minor thing really but if keep tools in the back get a metal bulkhead put in (if not fitted already) and add a security lock to the rear door.
  5. Nice pics
  6. Lots will fall for this, once they have your details they can post fake listings in your account name

  12. Dawn redwood tibetan cherry Cedar of leb, seems a popular choice

  18. Those prices have shot up, 5k all in for a 24+ student, was £1400 2 years ago all in for the same thing. Are the unders 24's getting there course paid for by the over 24's?
  19. Geckos for me also after trying a few. I have the alloy, strap bottom, velco top type. Cant fault them and as said, worth the investment.
  20. Those numbers quoted above are quite an eye opener to be honest.
  21. That was another i was looking at also, just under 100£ extra but... the specs speak for themselves.
  22. Yeah that was the impression i got, hence the price increases.
  23. Just pricing up my first rigging kit, normally i borrow, or just sub in a climber who has a kit already. Was looking to base the system around 16mm line. 60m for about 120£ seems good. What other 16mm lines are worth a look? Thanks
  24. As per title, looking for a 60m 16mm line, seems a good price.
  25. If you already running a 660 you have to ask yourself how often you would need an 880? 660 would be big enough for 99% of trees in the UK AND they are alot more user friendly in terms of weight etc
