  1. So with a pre 97, and a 7500kg truck you can only tow 750kg? Nothing is simple is it! We're looking to get a larger truck next year for which i will need further training ( post 97), just tempted to do the class 1 and be done it.
  2. Total Driving - C1+E
  3. Sorry forgot to add but my friends merc 4x4 isnt 3.5T... its either 4.5 or 5.5T. guessing your wanting to stay under the 3.5T mark
  4. Makes sense I was working on the basis that adding the extra bits to mine to make it 4x4 would have increased weight by a factor. A chap I work with has the 4x4 Merc and its a great piece of kit but as you say the new models do seem to suffer from rust.
  5. Ford did the "County 4x4" Transit. Not many tippers though. I was after the running gear to change mine to 4x4 for a while but lost interest in the project, payload will suffer due to the weight. There is one on ebay at the moment - Ford Transit County 4x4 4WD 2.5TD, 3 Way Tipper, MOT March 2015, NO VAT | eBay
  6. As scraggs says in regards the SEO issue. Space your phone numbers so they read better on the home page. check it works on mobile devices Maybe use your domain name for your email also - [email protected] instead of the live.com address ( just forward the live.com address to you new domain for old customers.
  7. I was quite impressed with this one even if I do say so myself! Dont need a FaceAche account to view.
  8. Agreed! Although this comment made me smile - " Butcher later demanded another £3,000 but the court heard the work should have cost £637.50. " A very precise figure! Maybe they worked it out on a price per leaf basis
  9. Yeah they are about £13-14 I think
  10. Original, Official STIHL Wood Moisture Meter Gauge - BNIB | eBay

  14. Made a thread a while back about getting a rigging kit together. I had been subbing in climbers who bring there own. Anyway im pretty much there with every thing else ( based on 16mm system) but lacking a rope. Ive used plenty of riggin lines before but never taken an interest in what they are and who made them, wish i had now. so... 16mm suggestions please and reasons why! ta
  15. Any used HB20's? Or ex demos? Thanks
  16. Thanks for the tips and advice lads, appreciate it. I think for the little use it will get a 12v system will fine. Having said that if a well priced SH pto system came up for grabs id be tempted.
  17. Been a few times one would come in handy so looking for some advice. Whats better for arb use, PTO or 12v? I have a defender 110. Pros and cons for the above? What to look out for on the second hand market? Thanks

  19. Shutdown is normally free isnt it?
  20. Left hand stem (first picture) has some meaty wood and would take a while to with that fence below. right hand looks like large sections could be crashed out. A long day with 2 climbers and groundie would be my aim, but i dont do long days! Id get it all on the ground for £600 Bear in mind, photos are never great to go by.
  21. Isnt the bearing life span about the 300hr mark? Im not sure, still, worth good money.
