  1. I take it you didnt buy it? Timberwolf / Woodpecker woodchipper no vat | eBay
  2. Someone has hacked an innocent persons account and used it post the ad.
  3. Thats what i want to hear! Will report back with an outcome. Best of luck with yours
  4. OK thanks for the advice, I bought them about 6-8 weeks ago online. Been sat on my desk ever since. Just opened the bag and they dont seem too dry, I can just about crush them in half with a pinch of my fingers so hoping they are still ok. Your tips are very similar to what the destructions said and the advice on his website. Ill soak them now in fresh water and the missus can get me some vermiculite from B&Q tomorrow, they should have it yeah? Was wondering, the fridge stage seems quite critical, reckon its worth splitting them in 2 or 3 different bags and putting them on different shelves to maximise the chances? Hope you find an answer to yours, how old is the bottom one? Couple of years?
  5. Cant give any advice and its a little off topic but i have about a gram of giganteum seeds still in the sealy bag that i haven't gotten around to starting, any tips? the destructions they came with make it sound a little tricky to get them going?
  6. spotted that so bidded 30k, shall we see how high we can get it?
  7. Any face pics? If so get them on social media and someone will know them. That being said, they will be back next week when the zigzags fail and the 540 engine mount snaps! Hope you catch them
  8. ebay have a 14 days returns policy and also the distance selling rules surely come into with regards to cooling off periods etc. With regards to weights, my TW 150 is with the older metal tank, braked etc and its over 750kg
  9. Been using one all day, very impressed. EDIT - where abouts are you?
  10. Also had the yearly sweep done today, not lit yet but wont be far off if the temp still keep dropping. Crazy really considering its august!
  11. Never used one but always thought the models with a conveyor looked ideal for hedge clippings or manky ivy covered stuff
  12. Agreed. I had a couple of days with the HSA 85 hedge trimmer, laughed when i saw it as it looked like a toy. 5 mins of use and i loved it. We had them on long term demo and they came with 2 batteries of different types, cant remember the ratings on them but lasted well enough. The first days use I was trimming some small shrubs at an old folks home outside one the residents windows, he opened the window for a chat ( as they do!) and i kept on trimming whilst nattering away to him. the experience really made me think again about these products, the lack of noise and fumes being the main selling point for me.
  13. Collected my coat...
  14. Did they insist on Dave also?
  15. could try shiply.com ? I used them a couple of times with no issues, you say what it is you need moving and people bid, you take the best/lowest bid.
  16. Would something like this do the job - Timberwolf Woodchipper | eBay If so, you make them with bits from Maplins etc for not very much money.
  17. Yep, I think (i) sums it up as it will be pre booked to have the work carried out, Thanks
  18. It would be handy if i didnt need the mudguards to be fair, was just going to knock some up out of ply for the trip. think im over stressing here
  19. Ah ok, hmm should be good to go then
  20. Hmm the outriggers may well still be on...
  21. Was just the wheels being uncovered that i was concerned about. will have a clean licence in a few months for the first time in 10 years and knowing my luck id get pulled for something silly
  22. Quick question, I will need to drive tubless 110 a short ish distance of about 20 miles. Its just chassis cab currently, or will be after the weekend. Am i right in thinking that if i make up some mudguards to contain the rear wheels and stick a number plate board on the rear im ok as far as plod go? Will be a stretch of A roads hence me asking
  23. "tweeked" Midland 248 in the truck
