  1. myhermes or click and collect would ship them for under a fiver, maybe more with insurance at full value. Id also be interested in this service, so yes, there is a market.

  6. Often stuck many ropes in at once without issue. Just check your machines load limit and weigh your ropes? If it breaks then claim ignorance when she moans... " As if im going to use that thing!"
  7. With a nice sharp chain the 365 will pull a 24" bar. Cracking saws these and a tad cheaper than the 560 I believe. EDIT - FR Jones have an excellent offer on all husky products at the moment, think its 27% off maybe?

  11. Sadly far too many with more money than sense.... Overpriced products with less functionality than the competitors IMO.
  12. Ive said before its going to be a dying market soon, maybe not just yet. With the new rules anyone passing their driving test will be limited to 3500kg GTW, making any new driver useless to a tree firm. So anyone wanting to be employable will need to do the trailer test anyhow and thus, will be able to tow heavier weights.

  14. Indeed! Mine a 94 CrewCab, 71k ex humber council tree truck. Was very well looked after, no rust on her at all, seen 08 trucks in worse condition, cheap to maintain keep going, its faultess and cost a tad over 1.5k. In the last 18months its cost me a tyre and bulb (other than a service). Wont be letting go off it. Having said that I would like something newer looking!

  21. In short - Large fire, in rush, tipped chip onto said fire, got home and remembered what was tucked behind the tailgate.... Will have to shift through the ashes tomorrow but doubt ill find them as it was quite large.
