  1. Had both the machines you mention (CS100 and 150DBH). CS100 is good at what it does but can be fustrating with the extra snedding involved. VERY handy on the right jobs though. I sold mine to pay for a 150DDH. for the record, you can get a good 150 for 5k. Just my 2 cents
  2. PM on its way
  3. Thats quality, who made it may i ask?
  4. Licences issued from 19 January 2013 From 19 January 2013, drivers passing a category B (car and small vehicle) test can tow: small trailers weighing no more than 750kg a trailer over 750kg as long as the combined weight of the trailer and towing vehicle is no more than 3,500kg Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) If you want to tow a trailer weighing more than 750kg, when the combined weight of the towing vehicle and trailer is more than 3,500kg, you’ll have to pass a further test and get B+E entitlement on your licence. You’ll then be able to tow trailers up to 3,500kg. Licences held from 1 January 1997 If you passed your driving test after 1 January 1997 and have an ordinary category B (car) licence, you can: drive a vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes or 3,500kg MAM towing a trailer of up to 750kg MAM tow a trailer over 750kg MAM as long as the combined weight of the trailer and towing vehicle is no more than 3,500kg For anything heavier you need to take a category B+E driving test. Licences held before 1 January 1997 If you passed your car test before 1 January 1997 you are generally entitled to drive a vehicle and trailer combination up to 8.25 tonnes MAM. This is the weight of a vehicle or trailer including the maximum load that can be carried safely when it’s being used on the road. You also have entitlement to drive a minibus with a trailer over 750kg MAM. Towing heavier combinations If you want to tow heavier combinations, you’ll have to first apply for provisional entitlement to the new C1+E entitlement. You’ll then have to pass the category C theory test and C1+E practical test. Once you’ve done this you can drive vehicles and trailers with a combined weight of up to 12 tonnes MAM.
  5. Valid point Trousers are the thing for me. Think how many pairs are sold each year in the UK... I guess not a great amount, the VAT wouldnt be a massive gain to "the pot". I know any operative worth his salt would be wearing even basic trousers but any injury costs the NHS. Think Mr Smith who decides to invest in a Black and Decker special from B&Q, £40 for the saw and then spend another £45 on trousers??? No he wont bother.. Knock that VAT off and it would be more appealing.. Major surgery to the leg with ligaments and joints involved surely must cost tens or even hundreds of thousands..? I dunno. Jonsies had some basic trousers on offer for about the £45 mark, maybe still do. Minus the Vat they would the same price as the average pair of work trousers
  6. Allah also doesn't seem to be keen on us lately either. ANY ppe should be VAT free
  7. Sorry just reread your original post, your symptoms are a little different to the issues on the machine i use. Rollers just turning very very slowly yeah? If your sure its running at full RPM then check that sensor that James mentioned. Must be something silly as you say. goodluck
  8. Thats gets my vote. Use one quite often and it had the same issue. If you hold the button down does it do the same thing?
  9. I second the comment about a surplus army gortex jacket, hard wearing and cheap.
  10. Id take the tipper and can supply tub sides and roof to make it into a hardtop. You could sell the truck cab upper and lower bulkheads plus your roof for about £200 ish. Better the devil you know...
  11. Hi Rob I have a site for you inbetween those 2 places, 24hr access. PM me for details
  12. Garden Tools and Engineering, Dereham, Norfolk. Lawn Mower, Chainsaw and Tractor dealers Small Engine Services l Sales, Repair & Sales in the Great Yarmouth Area Both fairly close to you
  13. Tidy! What was the tipper off? Im still searching for a suitable sized buck for my 110.
  14. I wondered about this ^^^. Surely it would be one paid click per IP address? I dont know. Id say 70% of new leads come from Google adwords for me.
  15. I know of a good low hour 150 for sale....
  16. Was always warned about the high pressure jet washer (proper 2 handed jobbie) when i worked at sea. Something about the super fine particles being able to get into the bloodstream and cause major issues. As said above, makes you think...
  17. Cracking second shot there Does MSN messenger still exist? Or was the pic taken in the late 90's
  18. Another vote for the 365, bargin at the price they are and will pull 24" bar fine, been using one on and off for a year or so.
  19. Eggs, thanks for that will give him a call asap
  20. Thanks for the replies chaps. Really im after secure storage for everything, my main tip site is east of Ipswich hence would be handy if close to that, more than happy to share. YES 8mins from home on a good A12 day In short needs to be secure. Enough room for transit, landy, chipper, large ifor, stumpy and workbench/ tool storage area. I need to work out square feet of space needed etc. Currently all my logs go to the tip site farmer as a backhander but i have other sites so hardstanding for those would be a bonus.
  21. Agreed. Fell and replace with a tibetan cherry, would be a nice contrast against the pale brick work.
  22. Been searching for months now and still no luck, nothing vacant anywhere near East Ipswich area.. Getting very frustrating... If anyone knows of anything please get in touch. Thanks
  23. I really doubt its had 275 hours use to be honest, the chap i got it from bought it new and it looked mint, i probably put 35-40 hours on it max as we stack then chip rather than leave it running. 3.5's a fair price, might get him down a few bob also
  24. So whats that about 4.7k GBP? Have you got a local Greenmech dealer? As mine took over 2 weeks to get some blade bolts in.. nothing kept on shelf.
