  1. :Thanks Hodge, spoke to KMR today and they mention it should be 40cm high also, guessin thats the size of the standard panels. Truck cab and roof purchased today, needing the lower hicap bulkhead and ready to go!
  2. OK ill admit, the one offer he had was me when i first posted it here, for a fiver as well. He said im having a laugh! Im now banned from all his auctions and messaging him as well he said! He wasnt lying as I couldnt reply. I wonder if he was "told" by who ever felled it that there was 2.5t and worth £200? Rather than them having to cart it away. Sounds like a Jonny Quick special
  3. corrected that for you
  4. Ballpark figure of cost? PM if you like, I emailed them a rough spec yesterday and await a reply.
  5. Yeah they did my old boss's canters and they seemed well put together.
  6. KMR is on the hit list in Hadleigh, no of any others local to try also?
  7. Sounds a handy size for odds and sods. Waz77 - Looks good. I need a flat roof for all my ladders and your design may well work out better. More to think about, thanks for input guys, good to hear some feedback
  8. Looks good Mitch, can you get much in the chassis lockers?
  9. Yep, I have a BR400, good point. I think the best thing would be to get all items that could potentially be stored in the locker and measure them up. The buck will cost a fair amount of money so i dont want miss anything silly and regret it.
  10. Thats bang on hodge, love the idea of having the bench with vice also, looks a really good setup. Any chance if you get a second to give me some rough dimensions? I assume its just on the one side?
  11. This is the issue, my other truck is a transit with plenty of tool storage, the 110 has been my daily drive / quotemobile for the last year but i fancied converting to make it more usefull for work. Small jobs will be done in the landie as and when needed. I was thinking of a small locker maybe 18" square running the width of the buck? Cab will have roof rack with large lock box on that and fuel storage. should be enough room for everything?
  12. Looking for some input in regards to the design of the chipbox. Think i have all the truck cab parts sorted to turn my hardtop into a single cab but im going to have the buck made professionally out of aluminium. Did any of you who DIDNT have a tool locker installed regret it? did you go for a tool locker as part of the buck or a separate unit? Thinking about having a simple square back with high barn doors that can be locked, flat roof for the ladder rack. Really looking for input from those who have had one made and weather they would change anything? This truck will be a second works vehicle so not used for the day to day stuff
  13. Interested in replies as he is also on the longlist for doing my 110 buck conversion.
  14. Dont be silly Johny, this is the ultra dense super pine hybrid, easily 3 ton there, someone gonna make a mint selling it on....
  15. Pine Firewood Logs Excellent Wood Burning Quality | eBay Be interesting what it goes for...
  16. Will PM you to keep this thread on topic.
  17. Yes makes sense, im post 97 hence if getting anything bigger than 3.5 would make sense to go as close to 7.5 as possible, still on the to-do list
  18. The correct techniques are shown in this video, watch and learn... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgCYLTojay8
  19. Turntable though?
  20. Alloy Geckos for me with velcro uppers and strap lowers, love them. Carbon will wear a lot quicker if walking in them even if you say to yourself you wont do it!
  21. Interesting point, currently collecting bits for mine as its a hardtop so i need the truck cab changed first. PM'ed you combined tree services
  22. 5.5 I believe, never understood the idea of going over 3.5t and not getting something as close to 7.5t as possible.... I may have missed something though!
  23. Just got outbid on a Husky H14W on ebay seconds before the end, spoke to the chap and it sounded ideal for my needs. Where else should i look for second hand winches other than ebay? Really cant stretch to a new one currently sadly
  24. After a PTO or Hydro powered winch for a 110 if anyone knows of one for sale? With or without tray/bumper. PM if you know of anything
