  1. Well thats on the "to buy" list then, anything to save time.
  2. I take it its just a file or stone incased inside, do they leave burrs on the edges that still need a small tweek?
  3. Yeah very much like that one Steve, a few on the market similar.
  4. Any good? Save time/effort? Never used one myself, just a flat file and square.
  5. Brilliant, the smile tells it all
  6. Be interested to see that as was considering the 3001 myself. Interested also to know costs for these homemade bollards.
  7. I doubt they want the hassle. Just want it all gone.
  8. On their website - Help becoming an ARB Approved Contractor
  9. Interesting to know, Im with Trust and its due in a few months, will give Arborisk a call
  10. Here was the one i fecked up on, had agreed to take to stump level and "try to right" the stump. Client thought he would "help" by back filling the hole while we were not there so we ended up having the remove the whole thing after he refused to pay. No access for any plant etc. BIG lesson learnt, now have the AA t&c's on the back of my quotes and i get the client to sign it before we start.
  11. Guessing his on about this listing - Arborists Plant and Machinery etc | eBay
  12. Made the same mistake ONCE... Now i type and post all my quotes detailing every last aspect of the job, better for me and the client, everyones happy.
  13. Similar to those online accounting jobbies. £20 per month.... £240 yearly... not for me. Excel + some calender software ( outlook, google calender) would do the same job.
  14. Mines had a section missing since i got it and its an otherwise nice clean saw, anyone got one/ breaking a saw? Failing that could a dealer get me one? Wondered if an 880 one would fit?
  15. Where abouts are you?
  16. Gottcha. Reason i asked is had an old 038 farmboss and after reading up on them a while back I discovered there was a 038, 038 super, 038 farmboss and Magnum:lol: I believe these had different displacements - 60-72cc
  17. Whats the difference with the Magnums on the 088? I always thought they were for the yank market and some of the smaller saws had a few extra cc's compared to the standard ones. Just interested
  18. I think the issue is them having fuel or oil in them? Ive had saws delivered by city link, TNT and DPD in the past. TNT do a lot of "ugly freight" so may be worth asking them
  19. Yep, some A/T's would serve you well and last a long time.
  20. Haha, classic:laugh1:
  21. Exactly, mines a smiley as mentioned above, genuine 67k and no rust wont be letting it go in a hurry.
  22. My crew cab transit weighs in at 2420kg, that was with my groundie sat inside plus all the normal gear in the back - 2 tophandles, 2 ground saws, 1 880, 2 climbing kits, pole pruner, long loppers, barrow, rakes, shovels, fuels and oils etc etc. Only got it on the bridge last week and was surprised that i had over 1t payload to play with. EDIT - was still 800kg overweight mind!
  23. Meh, i hate dry slopes! To many broken fingers lol!
