  3. Gransfors Bruks axes are not only superb tools They are a thing of beauty And once your boyfriend has finished splitting his pile of logs he will raise his gransfors above his head and howl at the sky! (might just be me)
  4. I absaloutly love the stein trolley Its made a lot of our jobs that would have been real back breakers a total breez. It comes out on most days but we do take down a lot of conifers from domestic gardens with tight access so has been a good purchase for us. Not had a puncture yet but will put green tyres on when I get round to it
  5. That is a tight spot. Do you have a drop zone the other side of the fence?
  6. I'm pretty sure they fit the arb trolly I think I've seen a pic of one with them on. I have a greentyer on a wheel barrow will have to check it on the stein trolly.
  7. Can you not just put two green tyres on it? They are puncture proof wheel barrow tryers. You can pick them up from b&q but they are about £20 each mind.

  9. yes got them parallel i clamped the mini mill rail to the end with a ratchet strap. a bit unconventional i guess but it did the job.

  17. So almost a year on and the cedar is about 12% moisture and thought i would sand up a 5' board to see how it turned out. Needed something to put my feet and coffee on so made a simple table. I have about 5 or 6 more 5' boards and 10 10' boards all 2" thick and around 30" wide so maybe some garden benches are in order?

  20. Looked at a few machines I did like the look of the Vermeer sc252 But I went with the bandit. For me I think it's the best machine for the type of jobs/work we do. Thanks dean looking forward to a delivery
  21. Took it back today and apparently the valve rocker had snapped off. Technician said he had never seen that before. They swapped the machine for me and all is working well Happy days
  22. Thanks for clarifying that Eddie Iv followed the instructions in the manual for cold and hot start and flooded starts but maybe I'm missing a trick. Will take it back Monday see what they can do. Cheers
  23. This confused me a bit as well So 2stroke is fine right? Just stihl confusing me with 4mix engines?
  24. I've tried starting it with choke/half on and on I've looked at the manual several times. Tried starting it as if it was flooded. Left it overnight tried cold starting it with choke on. I'm not getting a sausage. It's giving me a pretty good work out!! I've never not been able to get a machine going before this. especially something new I know what your saying about the aspen but I'm converted to the stuff now.
