  8. Nearly didn't watch this vid because i thought I'd seen it! Awesome little tour it would be great to see it in the flesh I have the splitting maul and forestry axe and it just feels nice to use something that's quality made
  9. Surely if it had a report that advised the tree to be removed and council refused then tree falls over that's got to be the council liable right? Couldn't the customer take them to court?

  12. thanks to Agg221 (Alec) for your time and sharing your knowledge with us and letting us practice/learn from working on your trees. And to Gollum (Mark) for showing us a snippet of his expertise it was very interesting and much appreciated! i few photos sorry the aren't better we had a good range of trees to look at from small trees that needed formative pruning some that needed maintaining and some overgrown
  13. The "S" reversing trailer and hitching on/off I found fine its as said in posts above it's like taking your driving test again so a lesson or two just to get rid of bad habits etc and lern how they want you to do it is a good idea
  14. Does the turf come with it?
  15. 261 is a good choice Personally think its a great all rounder (although I have a 260) it was my first saw its not let me down and would replace it if I had to with a 261 I haven't owned a husky tho its always been stihl. Will have to get a husky one day so I can compare for myself. It's all your own preference in the end When I done my training they always supplied me with a stihl 260 seemed to be the standard saw they used. I would try out your fellas saw for a bit
  16. Strength and Honour!! maximus decimus meridius
  17. The Don
  18. Cracking pics lovely pup!
  19. Yeah the roof is pants! Not a lot I can do this time of year tho Having a look about I orderd one of these for £259 free delivery that seemed good to me It measures 1800 x 488 x 388mm the spec looks pretty good and the size is perfect for sitting all saws and combi system in
  20. Hi Jon the garage is alarmed and has CCTV on it with van/cars parked in front of it. The garage really needs a new door and roof put on hopefully that will get done over the next 18months or so I just want to make as many hurdles to deter So much thieving going on as you can see from threads on this site and personally know of 4 friends that have been done over in the last 2 months! Maybe I'm being paranoid but want to do what ever I can to try and stop the bar stewards
  21. Thanks for all your replies Looks like I will keep an eye out on eBay see if something turns up
  22. I'm looking at safety chests to lock my saws up at night in my garage Would like something around 60inch long. What do you use? Or any recommendations would be helpful Budget between 300/500 Would like to keep costs down but want something very strong with good anti theft. I feel like I should put a few more hurdles in front of the thieving scum bags
  23. Your camera is in the future varty
