  2. Your local dno, not sure who it is there. Sure Eddy will be along in a bit, he's from that way.
  3. Weed em out in a morn I rekon Tom. Agree forestry is harder, that's why I switched to arb and the money of course.
  4. When do we get to see front side of the moon?
  5. Nice to see different angles. The view from directly above is quite interesting. Good work
  6. Problem i have found is that ear muffs do not sit quite right and let more noise in because of the arms
  7. You do not need to bring all the cutters down to the shortest. Its only when you have 4 or so you needs to do this. Chain length depending of course.
  8. Stick to your guns Ty. If they wanna play that game , argue it takes longer (which u were not charged for) with apprentice because you have to take time to explain and show them aswell as watching out for them.
  9. True, 'caution' was the wrong word, perhaps 'let it go this time' would have been better.
  10. I would explain what has happened to the tree officer and that you have been a little foolish to trust your client and lesson learned etc etc. If this is your first offence of this nature, I'm sure they will just caution you. Good luck. If it were a veteran oak in a prominent position I imagine that the outcome maybe somewhat different.
  11. I do the same shires and seems to last longer. Obviously it doesnt. Means u always have clean kit to wear. Same with ropes
  12. That is harsh. Probably more effort than its worth. What a bleedin jobsworth though
  13. I'd like to see the risk assessment for that. Pretty cool
  14.

  15. I rekon the bang tidy comes close, but then how can you justify the price tag???
  16. A few years ago I was running 3 teams travelling 75 miles there and back each day. Rather than drag, chipper, landrover tipper etc down each day, we would all pile in the disco and leave rest of vehicles and trailers there. Not the answer for your problem but worked for us. The newer Rangers, i.e. '07' onwards, are very good on fuel.
  17. I left my chipper at the bottom of a customers garden overnight on Tuesday. It pissed down that night and come weds morn I got stuck trying to get it out. I got hold of Jon who lived not too far away and he winched me out with his massey. Nice winch, nice tractor!! I would like to thank Jon for his assistance with his quality kit. Due to winching meant he was able to pull me out with minimal damage to the customers lawn. Thank you Jon, you are a STAR mate.
  18. Little bit overkill for home owner 15 cube a year!!
