  4. Working for the council all the allotments have my number and just give me a ring or text when they want some.
  5. Make sure you freeze them first or it's a right mess.
  6. I bought one nearly two years ago and had no problems with it, I am very impressed with it as it is only for personal use, I rang the company direct and asked what was the best they could do and they gave me free postage. Give them a ring and see.
  7. What do you need guides for.
  8. I have a Titan pro 8 ton petrol vertical splitter and had no problems with it, had it for over 18months now.
  9. I burn softwood on mine Larch and Pine are good, conifer okay(ish) but I mix it with hardwoods.
  10. They should have a letter to say what work was allowed to be done on them, if not a phone call to the tree officer to see what was allowed. I work for the L.A and we have to get permission to work on any TPO trees ourselves. Yew trees will usually go mad after working on them but a few hundred years to get back to what they were.
  11. Burns really well, the real dead branches are very good to burn, but as James said it does spit.
  12. Have you tried asking the estate itself, I worked there from 1973 to 1984 and they would have let us supply you some, I have no idea who is in charge there now, if they still have there own forestry team or contractors. It may be worth a ring though.
  13. True, working for the L A, he will probably get away with it.
  14. He did say he was going to get his rear window demister fixed to us. It's okay now he has a clear view.
  15. This morning we were just about to pull over and stop to do some work in a close and noticed a Peugeot 107 reversing out of his drive, my mate and I both said has he seen us we were doing about 10mph( in our Iveco 4x4 with the TW 190 on the back) but no he didn't, he reversed into the back N/S of the van. He just bent our rear lights but he came a little worse off, what a numpty.

  17. My mate got one on Amazon.com from America it was cheaper than over here. I have a 8 ton petrol axe myself.
