  1. I'm sure I saw those in the Canaries when I was out there a couple of years ago.
  2. I hope this link works.Sostanza natural chair by Essence Wood | Chairs | LOVEThESIGN
  3. If it's a Chinese Loquat I thought they fruited in the winter, I have one which is 7 years old and is pretty healthy but no fruit to date.
  4. When I worked at Hatfield House 1973--1984 we measured a Beech branch and found it to be 94ft long, the actual branch was in Adam and the Ants Stand and deliver video, if you have a look he is sitting on it near the start.
  5. Had one for years working off a combi boiler.
  6. I would just cut it up where it is and stack it on the side for now.
  7. It sounds like the blade may have lost some tension, we had tractor and diesel saw benches and it would start vibrating sometimes, and we sent them off to be fixed. I would not think the length of teeth would do it.
  8. I think the Stihl backpack blowers had them attached underneath a few years ago.
  9. Just finished mine today.
  10. I put this one on a thread on here. It might be the one. On the photo it says Dexter Elm Malden.
  11. This Beech has been in decline for a few years we will be taking it down in the next couple of weeks or so. As you can see it will be a bit of a challenge, no access for a crane or MEWP so it is all lowering by hand. It is around 60-70ft tall and approx. 17ft circumference, I don't think the residents will say much about it, and plenty of firewood for the boys.
  12. A boughton winch that brings back 35 year old memories, we had a 5 ton one on a super major and it was quite good until an operator panicked and jumped off and we watched the tractor flip over.
  13. I shall stick to my real fake 10 euro Ray Bans from Lanzarote which I have had for a couple of years now.
  14. Looks more like conifer to me and where is the other 2 tons as said above.
  15. Council are putting us through it as we have a 5.5 ton Iveco.
  16. On gardeners world last year there was a chap with over 200 varieties of apples on one tree.
  17. We just go up with the local Electric board if needed. ( not the power lines though.) A bit of tit for tat situation.
  18. We had a Transit AWD on demo a few years ago and it would kick in 4wd when needed, it could be a pain when pulling off as it would spin a bit but it was an early model.
  19. We have a Iveco 4x4 5.5 ton on our Council and it needs an inspection every 6 weeks and it has just gone in for it's second MOT test which is carried out at the local VOSA depot. I can drive it as I passed my test in 1975. We don't need the Tacho as we only drive local. I think over 30 or maybe 50 miles you need the Tacho.
  20. We cleared one up a couple of months ago but we had the tow path to work from, we also had a JCB which was a great help. The other option is a barge which you can put a chipper on or a couple of row boats.
  21. We used to use Nettle ban don't know if it's still around.
  22. We used to get them in new plantations, if you went near them they would do the broken wing trick to draw you away.
