  1. I had one a few years ago all the paint burnt off and you could not shut it right down and it was burning too fast. They did take it back for a full refund though, then I bought a Charnwood what a difference.
  2. Found a newspaper clip about them does make some sense. The Crooked Forest, Poland. Thought to have been planted in around 1930, the Crooked Forest is made up of approximately 400 pine trees, all bent ninety degrees at their base and all facing north. It is thought that the trees were let to grow for seven to ten years before being held down to create their bizarre shapes. However, nobody is entirely sure why the trees were grown this way. Some think they were grown to make furniture or build ships and were abandoned when the Second World War broke out.
  3. I have never seen you play tennis Graham, football yes but thats all.
  4. I now know why we did'nt pay a milk bill for years
  5. We had one in the back of the van a while ago.
  6. Driving eastbound on the M4 for a couple of days in Swindon, there were contractors working on the westbound embankment doing tree work,( Wiltshire area ) when the wife said should that fella be leaning into the chipper like that, so looking over I did see his arms inside the hopper with chips coming out of the spout, a little bit naughty on the side of the motorway. I have e-mailed the company, no names mentioned but if you are a member on here tell them off.
  7. Not on our council wage, but other perks help, same job for 19 years though only 10 more to go.

  11. Discovering the bones of Richard 3rd Archaeologists are digging up all Tescos car parks looking for his Horse !
  12. Those saws bring back memories we were using them over thirty years ago.
  13. In spite of the recent scandal - Consumers still prefer Tesco value burgers above those offered by rival supermarkets. This is according to a recent poll conducted by Gallup.
  14. Do it freehand I have for 40 years and had no problems.
  15. I forgot to say it still has its ID numbers on it.
  16. GREENMECH WOODCHIPPER DEISEL 1996 | eBay Found this on ebay, we had this bought for us by those above who have no idea in 1996, it was sold for £1200 to some poor person a few years later. On ebay it states 8 inch but it was a lot smaller than that, the hopper used to lift up and tie to the chute and one day driven down the road the chute fell off and was dragged down the road by the cable. The first day we had it there was a roller spring missing and it would hardly pull anything through. To be honest I think it was total rubbish as this size chipper goes. Now some poor person is willing to buy it.
  17. After a relaxing bath, Monica Lewinsky was looking at herself naked in a mirror...remembering her time with Bill 'Slick Willie' Clinton. Her frustration over her inability to lose weight was depressing her. In an act of desperation, she decided to call on God for help. She prayed, "God, if you take away my 'love handles,' I'll devote my life to You," she prayed. And just like that, her ears fell off and hit the floor!
  18. While working on a snow damaged Scots pine we found a large red and white cone, we thought it might be a hybrid but it was not to be.
  19. If we come across any small hollow logs we will always try to put them in a hedge or tree if we can.
  20. A few years ago I had some dead standing poplar not being a fan of poplar I tried it and was quite impressed. It makes a difference standing from the normal log shed stuff.
  21. If you are changing lightbulbs you are in the wrong job.
  22. I tried that once with my tree and a neighbor came round and complained about a horrible plastic smell.
