  1. That's not very nice. I'm sure his missis is very nice. why would he want to do that.
  2. Oh they have a cable. It's under the centre consol and it's there to release the park brake in emergency. Like when it goes wrong and sticks on. Lol. A real pig to sort out.
  3. As much as the missis thinks I need.
  4. Ahem I have a disco 1 1990 200tdi goes like stink, had a new head before I got it, I've had to put a new water pump on it but that's all I've had to do to it. I've driven the veriouse disco models and I have to say i like mine. The recent disco have got too much electronic in them and everything is run by the car not the driver. After working on the disco 3 I don't like it as there is always a new fault that you end up chasing them down. By the way if anyone has got one and it's getting near 3 yrs old you will need to change the parking brakes soon as they can when they wear out come on by themselves and lock on. Not good when going up the motorway.
  5. What a load of bull. How do they pay someone to come up with these things. Mine was 29bmi, says if everyone had mine it would add 60 odd million tons. Sorry but I'm six two and built like a brick doo doo house. My missis moans that my rib cage sticks out when I lay down. My bones are larger than average and I have muscles. What a waste of time and money this thing is. Oh and the country is Croatia.
  6. Just add them on a new post. Sorry I meant to ask if there was suppose to be a link. I didn't see the one at the Facebook link at the bottom.
  7. It won't take long. They are to even chelsea tractors as they are too rubbish.
  8. Mate has a disco 3, keep telling him to get rid of it as I'm always under the blooming thing. They are rubbish, just worth the scrap value. So far I've done his brakes and yes I've had to do the parking brake aswell. Not sure why landy moved from driveshaft to rear brakes. Lights have been his issue with them keep blowing. Changed the turbo. And he couldn't get it in reverse, this was a broken circlip on the reverse ingage that had broken and it was a 10p fix but he got quoted a fortune from landy dealer. I hate them and would never have one on my drive.
  9. Oh dear I do believe you have started something with the multitool three easy..... Will pm my address soon. Lol
  10. Got some at the show. Really goog t shirts. Nice fit and the missis likes hers as that was all it seems she was wearing last night., don't think the emoticon has a big enough smile. And no I'm not posting any pictures.
  11. Glad I went yesterday. Have fun with the numerous invoices I have created. I just couldn't decide what I wanted and had to keep going back.... It was a good show. Your tent was really busy and the guys looked like they had trouble keeping up. But i found good service. Been winding the missis up playing with my kit in the living room, just need to get out to the nearest tree today and climb it.
  12. Got the arbtalk knotamathingy. Been using the guide for a while now. I've got two types, the arb one and a 3d one that animates the rope.
  13. Wasn't it cancelled last year? Have people not thought to change the dates of these things seeing as the seasons are changing slightly!
  14. Gutted I'm not going tomorrow, but work must come first. No work, no money to spend, equals crap day. Had a few setback I could have done without today like getting the mother of all screws in the landy tyre today and having to plug the hole. Not a good afternoon. But hey the show is going to brighten it up. I must have a sad life as I can't wait, feel like I'm 5 yr old at Xmas time again.
  15. Yeah I see the point of still using concrete and if you haven't got some numpty labourer working that doesn't know how to mix concrete dry enough then it's all fine. Personally I see postcrete as an innovation to fencing, the same way a mechanical digger took over from a navvie. It's progress that makes life easier. Making work more productive.
  16. Done a long fence, think it was 22 panels and 23 posts three year ago, drive past it most weeks and it's still standing. Yes you do need two bags per post. It can be expensive and on long fence runs I would use concrete but it turns a long job into a very small job. I love the stuff, and yes it does seem like cheating as you can do post and panel as you go. The customers love it as they can see the fence go up as you go along and it's all clean and tidy as you only need to be at one post at a time rather than doing a line of them with soil and tools lying around each one plus supports on each post. It's just so easy but also very expensive stuff to by and can put the price up a bit. I did put some in a block before then crack it open after it had dried to find it looks like marble on the inside...
  17. Good that was exactly what I was after. The basics. Having never climbed a tree before with ropes it sounds like a good first read. Been reading through and some stuff I already know after watching and helping the climber from the ground but it's nice to have it in some more detail other than just being showed that's how it's done.
  18. Stop solonoid issue? When it won't start loosen the injector feeds and see if fuel is going to them when turning over.
  19. Yeah me too. The suns out again today and my thermometer said 15 degrees c. Good job I'm not working today or I would be sweating one out instead of laying in the garden....
  20. My other half got me a book to help get off the ground so to speak. The tree climbers companion by jeff jepson. 2nd edition. Anyone read this book and what did they think of it. I've had a quick flick through it and it looks good but going to start going through it later.
  21. Funny. I've looked at the forecast every morning this week for the days and it's says rain. When I get out there is not a drop all day and the sun comes out, I've even got sunburn.
  22. Shame I can't swear on this. Been told off already. Lol That's crap. I do hope you can cover my extensive shopping list for the show
  23. Ther not leaks ther suppose to do that so there's no excess oil in the box
  24. I've finished the first book and started the second. It would seem that men are actually reading these books more than women. I've talked to a lot of friends and they have started reading it aswell. For me I don't see it as "porn" or "filth" it's a good read and that is what I enjoy. A waste of time to some yes. But I've read from an early age and I was way ahead of my reading age at school. The first long book I read was bravo two zero. Something like a thousand pages, took me two weeks from start to finish reading at bedtime. Other books took me a lot less time, it has taken a long time to find a book I get stuck into lately and this one has gripped me. The whole it's disgusting bit I don't see, the book is very cleaver in wording the naughty parts as it leaves the reader to imagine what is going on. It's graphic there's no denying that but it's down to the reader to define how graphic they want it to be. You can imagine very part in great detail or not. Oh well I agree with each to there own, and I'm sorry but films don't do it for me either, porn films are faked and I have to laugh if I watch one.
