  1. Ok will check it, it got used again today and managed to almost run for about half hour, then it just quit. Got a roller drive that is leaking fuel through the carb, this was sorted so we thought with another carb but it's doing it again so I'm going to check the fuel lines etc. it does run like stink when it's leaking fuel. Will look into the Honda tomorrow, got loads of spares off other engines so can replace with parts that I know work.
  2. Wish I could camp it now...... Never mind next time as I'm going to be ready for it way in advance.
  3. A sealed container, we use the container it comes in, but you could use any that are sealed and are big enough to contain a spillage. A good lock box with no holes is usually good enough. They must be secure with a lock so joe public can't get hold of them but cannot be allowed to create a spill. Oh and don't forget you must have a spill kit and a supply of fresh water for emergency. God knows why with roundup as its harmless to animals but thats the rules I suppose. The registering is a good idea as they send you any info about changes to spraying and chemicals that come about, god knows it changes enough.
  4. Wow just a few questions hey. Ok so register yes but it's really only for big self propelled sprayers I.e farms. Buying yes you do have to show you can use them, unless it fleabay, and you can get them from most agri suppliers. Not sure what is up your way but getting it delivered would only cost you more. Yes you are fully licensed to use. I buy in 25ltre containers. For travelling you can just keep it in the container it came in, unless mixed then it has to be in the knapsack sprayer that passes the tests you would have done on your course. Yeah the blue book is good or just look into the reps for chemicals, or the labels on the containers. I don't think roundup is that good, we have just changed to gallop 360. Seems to do a better job so far than roundup.
  5. Cat stuck in tree=12 bore=cat removed from tree. Can't stand the vermin and they should all die. He'd the cat protection society at my door the other day, they got a mouthfull of whatnot. The only protection they need is from me......
  6. Not sure, they protected me against them. But then I was looking out for addas at the time so was going carefull.
  7. Been there done that, learnt the hard way, always use an old towel now. The bit that has broken is the equlivant to the impulse line on a saw, the tube that sticks out from the carb has snapped, I need to fix it back on but not sure what to use that would hold it well enough, was thinking of building up around it with some jb weld. Got one for gardenkit today aswell, a Honda mower, it will run perfectly one minute then it will die, seemed like it would run out of fuel, it would start then stall, then not start at all until a few hours later. Changed the carb so I know it's not that and it's still doing it. Would it be anything to do with the spark? Not tested compression yet as I'm trying to wait for it to do it again so I can get comp tester on it straight away. It would run fine for a few days then just fail....
  8. I don't know how people can work smoking dope, I used to use it to sleep at night. Had a problem sleeping before due to bad nightmares, found tablets did nothing, eventually went to a phyciatrist and it got a lot better and I stopped. "hard" drugs have never interested me and never will, seem a waste of money to me. The money you could spend on cocaine for instants you could go parachuting and get high that way.
  9. I just got a pair of these, not too bad so far, comfy enough to wear with shorts underneath. Seem tough on the outside, walked through brambles in them so far and no snagging. Only thing is the backs are just the thin outer so thorns go through to skin. Would recommend getting some braces for them, a belt doesn't really do it well.
  10. Just find a long bolt that will fit the hole. Lost mine ages ago and never botherd replacing it with anything, just use you hands when it's stopped or use the floor to angle it. Why spend when you don't really need it, unless you are going to sell it.
  11. Just use the ton sacks but don't fill them up so much, assuming you use a trailer Empty them out into the trailer and use a fork to unload the trailer at the other end! Used to do it this way before the tipper came along. Less is more when filling the bags....
  12. Funny that, I've done nothing but sweat it's been that hot and dry. Never seen a chipper block up like that before, must be the good weather in this part of the country.....
  13. Well what a day, got the new piston and rings into the quad, compression is now at 175. But I noticed a bit broken on the carb, anyone know a good chemical for ally? Needs to be fixed back on but is not likely to be knocked or in a spot that would move the pipe.
  14. Well I can point a few flaws out in these plans. 1. Chainsaws need fuel? 2. Stick a chainsaw in a zombie and you get splash back of blood, turning you into a chainsaw wielding zombie??!? 2. Guns need ammo. 3. You will need to come down from said tree to eat as you WILL run out! My plan is to stay indoors wait for army, then nick an assault rifle as there will be plenty of ammo from dropped soldiers.......
  15. Im looking into climbing to further my tree work, I'm going to get my own kit at the show as I borrow some at the mo to rec climb with. I'm damn sure I will want to start climbing soon, just got a way to go before I could put a saw in my hand up a tree.
  16. Used to always get tested, worked on the tunnel for a bit on machines, had to. Don't know about tree work, but anything that will change a state of mind while operating any form of machinery is foolish. Plus if you do have an accident and go to hospital they are going to pump you full of painkilling drugs, the worst would be morphine, this would lower you heart rate and if you are on dope that has already lowerd you heart rate. Plus how would you look at it if you were doped up and caused an accident that killed a work mate?
  17. Sory silky now I've looked again I have to say. Nice to see you to see you? Sorry but I had to say it, no offence meant.
  18. Let the ins broker fight it out with council, if the council are saying ith bad day for weather the insurance company will look at the weather forecast for that area and decide if it was bad weather or not. Had this with my mums roof, the storm had blown some tiles into the lead cutter and broken it, when she phoned they dais the weather wasn't bad according to the met office so they wouldn't pay as it wasn't a bad forcast.
  19. The parts have finally turned up for the quad today so will be fitting them on thursday. Then I can get the thing out of my way. I have to say parcel force are the worst I have encounterd for delivering what should have been straight forward. Oh well better late than never, can't wait to test it out..
  20. Don't forget to contact any turners if you fell one, they love the timber and pay for it.
  21. Gutted Andy I've made you look a twit now. Mwahahahaha
  22. If its printing poor as its not used much have you tried putting it through a cleaning cycle? And I don't mean putting it in the washing machine....
