  1. Yeah I hope there is enough parking, could see mogs and chippers fighting to get the brash into there's.
  2. Sure no probs. be sure to. Better start saving now as I can see me spending a bit. Lots of nice new shiny stuff.
  3. I'm going. Be my first arb show. Looking forward to. Not as much as my new trousers I orderd yesterday. But when they turn up I will be looking more forward to the show. Looking at getting a harness and some new rope on the day. Not sure about throwing an axe, lucky if I can throw a rope up a tree let alone an axe at a piece of timber.
  4. They are but it's more for fruit farmers, there are newer small tractors that are wanted now. Done a complete rebuild on the 35x on college, it was my entire machinery coursework section. The 3 pots are better and wanted more than 4. I would keep it if you have a use for it.
  5. Ok but if you haven't got red ones I'm pointing the other half in your direction.
  6. Why!?!? What wrong with cheque or cash nowadays? Do we rely that much on technology that even the simple things are done by electronics? It winds me up when I'm waiting in a queue in the shops and someone is paying for an item that costs a few quid and they have to use there card! What you haven't got a quid in your pocket to pay for it? Quick and easy my arse.
  7. On a slight derail. The arb I work with had his truck hit, his wife was using it. It wasn't her fault as a merc skidded into her and left a figure 11 about 50 yards long. Took out the front drivers side bumbler and wing, damage is minimal as it was a hilux. The insurers are saying its knock for knock as it was country lane, I thought knock for knock was thrown out a while ago as unfair for policy holders. So what does he get, do the provider pay for the damage to his truck or have I got to fix it again? I know nothing about this, he is third party fire and theft aswell.
  8. Must admit I had to read that bit twice to understand it. The other half gives me funny looks when I just burst out laughing sometime. I've learnt to swallow my tea before reading posts on this site.
  9. I have to get two. I like the grey one but the other half wants the red one. Are both going to be at the show? Will get mine then, then I can get the exact size I need.
  10. It's the drums that say hydraulic oil!!!!
  11. They want to know if anything you put on it will make it more nickable, I can't see much on it. Or anything that will appeal to anyone who wants to nick a bit off it.
  12. I thought winches were not classed as a mod. Things that change to performance or ad value are important. Bigger tyres, better air kit, snorkel, different engine, etc etc etc. Add a big expensive high end alarm and they lower the price. Ins companies now know they can get away with charging what they like as the law has now changed and they know how to make money from you. You will prob find the extra cost without giving them a list will be for admin fees for doing the paperwork.
  13. I still wear a pair that looks like those????!!!! Ordered my new ones today can't wait for them to turn up. Hurry up mr postman.
  14. Ifbthere is no room for a mewp would there be any way to get a crane to the tree????
  15. Ha I didn't think about the choke and I bet no one else did either. Check the flap is not loose and moving when the saw is turned on its side......
  16. If anyone has seen the film over the hedge they will know the video I have in my head right now.
  17. To be fair, they have to do something to make it interesting, how boring would it really be if all you saw for an hour was a truck driving?????
  18. Then it has to be seals, can't see anything else. All the other parts changed sounds like it should be a new saw now. Lol
  19. It may be crank seals but as you turn the saw on its side the seal are allowed to move out of position, when the saw is other way up the seals are pushed into there position. If you have replaced everything else and the seals are the only thing left then change them. The mix is definatly ok?
  20. There is one porgramme I always watch and that is deadliest catch. That programme is awesome, and the money they make is incredible, that is a job I wouldn't want to do.
  21. Wow Stephen. That's some plan. All except for a good mechanic to sort out any breakdowns and your all set.
  22. Well I have to say I did have an extremely good teacher but I am in no way as good as he was, when we were hay bail carting we used flat beds on dollies. This man used to use a loader with a hitch on the forks, he used to drive them into the barn for off loading frontwards, never hit anything, never got stuck, and done it so quick he was in and out before I could get out the cab of the John Deere. It was by far the best driver I have ever seen, thought me a lot about machine driving.
  23. I did and have. It's a bit like reversing a low loader on a dolly. Just have to take it slow and steady.
