  1. Free rates as its a good bit of sport for the gun.
  2. Or one of there old mans????
  3. I just couldn't do it to any gear as I know I will only end up in the workshop fixing it after.
  4. Give me enough warning and I will try to be there. Be nice to meet, and see these ported saws compared to none ported. Would be more and interest to me than anything.
  5. If it has a rule bowl on the carb it could be the float valve allowing fuel to constantly allow fuel to pass through instead of stopping it when the bowl is full. The fuel bowl is at the bottom of the carb. Sounds like the problem to me.
  6. Nearest one to me is ashford. Might have to try some as I never have. Especially after cutting up connie and getting lung fulls of two stroke. There is a dealership in sandwich kent but they don't stock aspen.
  7. I have been using fishing weights. I have an 8oz one and can easily get 40 ft with it. The round weight works well as it bounces off branches. And for £1.20 it's a lot cheaper than normal weights so if it get lost I'm not stressing over it. I did think about a hand catapult but after being able to get it high up by throwing it I don't see the point.
  8. I parked on the nice shiny multi story car park for mine. Failing that the small open one. Got there early and done some shopping first.
  9. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/training-education/42273-cscs-cro-card-occupation.html?highlight=Cscs This one.
  10. The standard cscs if you like. Your cs Certs will cover everything else. The other colours are for a trade. There was a thread about these a while ago. Should come p in a search on cscs.
  11. I've had mine for a while now aswell. It got used once, scanned into computer for site h and s and never asked for it again. But get caught not displaying on site and you will get kicked off. Depends if the site foreman is a jobs worth or not. And if he will give the heads up of a site visit from anyone h and s so you can get off site quick before they see you.... Guess its like cs Certs now to sites. Touch screen assessment but I wold look into the books. Some of the stuff looks simple but they like to throw a few curve balls into it.
  12. Had the 026 on bench again tonight. Chain running on. Checked the clutch and it was missing a spring. Salvaged one from a 200 and all is fine again. Had another look at the pole saw. Still none the wiser. I want to get a husky now just so I can get spud to port it.
  13. Rich rule and Shane. Best ones I've heard. Can't wait to walk past someone laying turf now. Never had the bottle to say that to someone yet. I would never know who they really where or who they know.
  14. It's England what's this dry word everyone keeps using. I have no idea what it means, didn't even think it was English? Ask your lads what they think. Bet 100 quid they will gladly go out and work than sit in doors listening to her whining. I know I do.
  15. agree 100% with the Chinese pistons, I've used them once and never again, the rings broke and seized the saw within 5 mins of running in. And they badly scored the cylinder leaving no choice but to end up scraping the saw and cannibalising it for spares for other saws. It was a ms260 by the way.
  16. I'm going to have to disagree. This job is dangerous enough without adding drugs to the equation. Driving the day after a heavy night on the beers is still illegal as the alcohol is still in your system. Driving while high is the same as drunk driving. Would you get in a taxi if the driver was high? In your free time it's up to you what you do. But on site clear heads are always needed. Before and during work is always going to be a no no. It's that strange thing that eludes everyone lately, common sense.

    My mates saw

It is a bit. The basics are the best. Bit like connie is a money tree, left for a year and won't work machines are money machines. You could have various. Clean filter again with compressed air. Check for spark at plug. (Hold against cooling fins while pulling cord) clean tank filter. Is the plug wet after trying to start. A little fuel direct into carb helps eliminate a few problems. Or do what is stated and do a search on here for any more info
  18. Maybe a tpo officer could be. Would be real easy to get permission to fell a few trees.
  19. Ah but wd40 has many many many uses. And yes it means quad. As it is the ultimate 4x4. As for fixing stupid not sure I said anything about stupid but then the bloke I work with did cut half his finger off with a horizontal splitter a month ago just before we was about to go on holiday. Can't say he stupid but he can't remember how it happend either. Using it on his own by the way so could have something to do with it.
  20. True but you know how the system works. They go tell some "undesirable" that they are going to be neutered and they should brace themselves while the doc gets the bricks out, and they will down to see a duty solicitor before the doc can turn around.
  21. Damn I've been found out. You read my signature?
  22. Spud she will NOT be happy with you for that one. Marsh monkey, just be sure you have a triple chocolate sponge cake with all the trimmings to hand!
