  1. Oh here we go. Fact log splitters are dangerous. Chainsaws are dangerous, processors are dangerous, tractors are dangerous, cars are dangerous. That's why there's training and rick assessments. Oh and that very rare thing called common sense......... It's a joke. Oh I forgot you don't get those....
  2. After a crappy day like today I want the fifth one down framed and on my wall so I can look at it when I come home. That's pure tranquility that is.
  3. I have to agree here. What's wrong with them. The only one I can see is the last one, as it sounds like they are just trying to get rid of the thing and don't want to do it themselves. The first one seems ok, as they are not trying to sell them for just firewood but craft aswell. The second one looks like leftovers from a craft maker.
  4. That would be a blunt plastic one then. Bit like the child's scissors.
  5. So what's covered by what we know as units is still coverd they have just changed the name of each one? So cs 30 is still cs 30 but is now a different name? One question. Why?
  6. If your in trouble rehire him tomorrow and make it perfectly clear that drugs have no place in the workplace. If he does it anymore he's out on his backside. Failing that there are plenty of groundies on here or elsewhere that would bite your hand off for a job and they would probably have there own ppe.
  7. Ok let's face it. We have raped pillaged and torched this planet of every bounty she has to offer. We have created a world where it ending seem inevitable. We breed young and from early on we work to provide and keeps them safe as they are the future. We teach them right from wrong as we were once taught, we teach them the history of mankind and our mess ups. We try to teach them to not make the same mistakes we and our fathers have made before us. In hope they will either find a way to correct them or learn from them and not continue making them. We do all this so that one day on our deathbeds we can find a little peace that our young will go forward and make the world and the environment a better place to live and give nature her beauty back so that there young can look after it. Hopefully we will see our young produce there's and teach them the same we have tried to teach ours. Sorry if this is a bit physiological for a Sunday night but I was going for a number two while reading this thread and it hit me to write this.
  8. Nothing wrong with turkey twizzlers mate.
  9. At least we would not have to worry about France too much. [ame=http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uVMsOYRM3Jg]YouTube - funny french rocket launcher[/ame]
  10. You forgot the Jeremy Kyle show
  11. If we have another world war it would be over so quick you wouldn't even notice it. Exept that the human race would be gone from nuclear fallout. And if you did manage to survive you wouldn't have any food as radiation would mean nothing would grow. So bets option would be one bullet and one gun. Point to brain and pull trigger. How's that for thinking miserable? Lol Oh and I'm ok I've got a crate of tiger beers I was given for fixing a saw.
  12. I feel sorry for anyone who buys it then burns it and gets done for burning it.
  13. Urm. Thought you couldn't burn stuff like that for the chemicals in the paint and treatments?
  14. I was looking at a pole saw four mix today. Damn these things are crap. Cleaned carb, checked valves, checked the fuel getting into the air filter thing. Still wont run good. It's now going in a box and getting replaced with another. What engine should I replace it with? Seen a few two strokes on them. Had a Kawasaki strimmer aswell, running poor. Cleaned carb out and works a treat.
  15. stihl having interchangeable parts.
  16. Was an empty week next week but just filled four possible days with a new garden to tend to. A bleak and otherwise workless week just got better.
  17. Spud one word. Wow. I would never have the competence to just go and try to port a saw. As I'm sure most wouldn't either. But next time your planning another ported saws day out I would be most interested on seeing one in action. I'm a bit worried about the offer of bed what with marriage soon and all so I'm going to have to turn the offer down I'm afraid.
  18. Sorry I should have said it. I was just throwing the questions out there to anyone able to answer some of them. Wasn't directly aimed your way gardenkit. What are the j.d mowers like? We've got two roller drive garden mowers and we havnt used them yet. My thinking was j.d wouldn't put there name to any old crap.
  19. Don't be too quick to put yourself down on the description part gardenkit. You can do it well enough to get the point through. And to get it understood enough to work with. Although there is one question been bugging me lately and that to port or not to port? What is the pros and cons of porting a saw. Does it shorten the life of the saw? Why do it? And how do you know how much to take away? Is it like polishing a cylinder head inlet outlet ports? Does it add more hp to the saws engine?
  20. I did have a good look. My first thought was "that's looks expensive" but I does look nice.
