  1. Seems the older saws are running for longer than new ones. We have two ms260 stihls and an ms200t. Every other saw is all 012 numbers. 034, 036, etc. use a 048av that has never missed a beat.
  2. Wow it does sound rife done here. We havnt had anything go missing yet. Had someone try a while back but we were on the way out shooting so they changed there mids and shot off sharp ish. They didn't see us coming up to the gate next to yard.
  3. think you will like that thread
  4. Same to you spud. Don't think I know of a more knowledgable techy than you. Or gardenkit for that matter. Keep up the good work you do.
  5. Haha check out the ms200t trigger thread.
  6. tripped over this in doorway to workshop earlier, needed new drive cable. easy fix.
  7. so i started the job pics below thought i would do a scale on how stressed i got like haynes do the spanner guide, the bigger the hammer the more stressed i am. so in each picture there is a hammer. enjoy.
  8. Got the parts today. Thank you. Did already get frustrated just getting into the envelope. How hard can it be..... Off to do the job now so pics will follow tonight.
  9. No truer words spoken. I started out 7 years ago, got offered a week dragging brash to the chipper, an easy 70-80 yard drag, had nothing, no ppe, no saw. Got given an old helmet and some old and I mean old trousers, Got given a bow saw and was told that once I learnt not to get the bow saw stuck and how the branches reacted to being cut I would learn how to cut with a saw. I was on 50 a day. So I slogged my guts out for five days straight, I was the first to arrive and the last to leave. Now I'm on farely good money, got my own tools and loving every second I'm working. I was stupid when I started thinking how hard could it be??? How wrong I could get. Get some work with a local firm, even just running around with a rake or broom, be the gofer. Then see how badly you want it. It's a good time in the year as winter is coming up and it gets really hard fighting cold all day. Good luck with whatever you choose though fella.
  10. Last fine I heard about was 1200 quid. They took out four un insulated cables. About 200 yards long. Not me someone else. Heard about the fine through the grapevine. The cost of repair and if there are no tickets to cover the job with power lines the fines can get ridiculously high..... Take a step back, look at the job, and think to yourself is it worth all going wrong for a few phone calls to the power network?
  11. current members. Anyone who has owned a four mix.
  12. Yeah a no smoking policy would be good. The only problem I would see would be people under the mewp area.
  13. Yep but as spud said the Chinese ones can be the wrong way round. I found this out the hard way..... Check, check and check again on rebuild.
  14. That sounds nice and clear. Be the first job to do when it gets here so will be posting pics soon as.
  15. Ho about fallen angel? Nice work by the way.
  16. He didn't say anything about changing jets or flow rates and all that nonsense.
  17. Probably not as there wouldn't be much left of the boiler after.
  18. I old just see the headlines now. Today on the motorway there was a major accident when a Mercedes lost control crashing into a triumph who's engine has stalled, and a Peugeot crashed into the Mercedes because it had brake failure, a Nissan then crashed into the pile due to loss of steering. An sdc then lost its drawbar causing a vauxhall to try and speed past him but his throttle got stuck open and he rammed into a Volvo who couldn't stop. On the other carriageway a speeding fire ball went past the accident that later turned out to be a Mercedes Benz. Sorry it's been a boring day. I will get me coat.
  19. Scrap that done it. Little bit less than I wanted to donate I'm afraid but I've done it. Something about verifying account or other.
  20. I'm trying to do a donation and PayPal is saying they can't validate my card???! Anyone know much about this. I've got a PayPal account but that's coming up the same. Can't do the transaction. I've tried with my PayPal and using my card without my PayPal, still the same. Argh I hate technology.
  21. Jeeze I thought I ate too much. I eat nothing compared to you lot. No breaky, but sarnies at ten. Crisps, chockie, chockie, and more chockie.
