  1. I've never had a problem with the caps. Had some new ones that wouldn't fit properly but not coming undone during working.
  2. Fixed that for you. A pressure and vac test would be a starting point. But I take it you don't have those tools? A comp test is also good. Has the carb got the accelerator pump in it? Have you got a known good carb you can try on it?

Looks like the rear plates have taken a huge hit from the springs. There could be some damage there. But then I've fixed worse looking. Any idea what the cause of the failure could have been?
  4. Oh the joys of a finicky 200t. There are a few options. Could be fuel issue. Could be carb issue. Do you know hat the dealer has looked into on it?.

Isn't suppose to be a clutch there somewhere. You will need a new clutch. Should take no more than 10 mins to change if the sourounding plastic are ok.
  6. Just started here. First flakes after nothing all day.
  7. Just started hear. Not a lot but its been below freezing all day and very dry. In for some trouble me thinks.
  8. The saw is working ok. The comp has dropped a bit to 145 psi. The high reading before was due to a bit of oil I put down it before turning over by hand. But it's working ok.
  9. Looks like I'm owed a tenner. Half two and not one flake from the sky, dull and grey and windy but no snow  I wanna go sledging.... I will take my tenner in the form of a donation to children's trust please:thumbup: or to arbtalk (button at bottom of page)
  10. 026 back together with new pot and meteor piston. First time I've used a meteor piston and I can see why spud really praises them. The finish on the fabrication is spot on, no fab marks left on it at all. Comp test showed 225psi wet. Anyway saw back together so now I'm off to test after a coffee.
  11. This could end up on the bloopers thread:lol::lol:
  12. It has been light snow all day. Stopped a few hours ago and sun came out. Not started again yet.
  13. I feel sorry for the groundie. There 7 climbers up there and one groundie with 2 people watching. Hope he's on more money than they are.
  14. You should try a few of these then.
  15. Carefull what you wish for. I watched that day after tomorrow last night. No snow here but the ground has frozen up from today and its like an ice rink.
  16. Oh dear. Bang goes your warranty then  Those springs are not made to the highest standards.
  17. It's proper crap when it happens. They seem to migrate the wrong way. When it was warm and sunny now they are moving north when its cold. Shows how stupid they really are. Bet spud could fix that husky up in no time....
  18. D a tree surgeons has lost half a finger on a one hand operated splitter. I did have a good chuckle about it. He is now called stumpy. Lol. Seriously tho why would you want to remove something that is there to stop accidents???
  19. Probabaly more concerned over the trail of grass and mud you just left all over her shop.
  20. That is a good video.. I liked the music. If only it was like that always. Well done silky by the way. Havnt dropped into this thread for a while but just caught up.
