  1. This however harsh it may sound to some is true. You will find that it's not really the boss telling him to do it but the insurance company telling your boss to say it. Same with a car accident, you never admit liability at the scene. As you could be confused and in shock (again according to the insurance company) Sorry no help with the window case. Knowing people in the glass game works Wounders with this though.
  2. Normally something comes my way just before it hits the skip... If they can't fix it themselves that's when it ends up on my bench or if they can't be bothered to look at it.
  3. Well done mike. The bleeding obvious is always the first learning curve for anyone. It will also be the first place you will look next time.
  4. Sorry didn't see I was the only one who said to slow the feeding down.
  5. As said its feeding too fast. The faster it goes the more wood gets put between the blades. Bit like dicing a carrot. The faster you move along it the bigger the slices. The while twigs will either the feed in speed or the anvil is too far away from the blades allowing twigs to fold and get pushed down between the blade and anvil rather than being chipped.
  6. Don't be too quick there Andy. I would check the plug first and it will give a good diagnosis about what's happening in the cylinder. If its firing fine then the plug will be a nice colour. Now we know its two stroke go for the obvious on a two stroke. Is the carb allowing air into it through any sort of air line. Have you had the carb off and cleaned it out yet. Best thing to do is think of it like a saw. If your saw wouldn't rev up what's the first thing you would do? Other than throw it in the corner and wait for e scrap man.
  7. Air leak in carb. If its four stroke. Could be the fuel bowl not allowing enough fuel through. (Doubt this tho as its ticking over) First a few questions from me. Does it smoke. Does it tick over all day no problems. Does it backfire at all. What colour is the plug. I need some more info. Also make model and engine size please.
  8. Yeah spud and garden kit... Get a room.:lol:

  11. eBay... Are you mad... Some old saws can be pure gold. There's nothing like the feeling of bringing a saw back from the grave.
