  1. Shipborne near Sevenoaks. I need to take more cash this year... Run out a bit quick with all the shiny things on sale.
  2. I for one am glad you did. Top site.
  3. Los of techy forums. Both uk and USA. A couple of landy ones. And a shooting one. And some plant machinery ones aswell.
  4. Damn it Gareth I was just about to post that pic aswell. Guess I'm going for my second fav pic. Doh.
  5. Blimey. So if you knew the headaches it would cause and the stress. Would you do it again??
  6. Just out of curiosity how many members are there to date???
  7. Jb weld is normally the go to fix. Anything that can take high heat and resistant to petrol. Try some, fill the tank and leav it sitting for a day and see if the weld is hard and dry still. If its soft or damp clean it up and use something else. I've never had a problem with jb weld on a metal petrol tank from my old series 2a. Held up good. Don't know if its still going as I sold it.
  8. Nice one gardenkit. I will get there eventually. I did clean it off after I finished the 200 and got the solo sitting on it. Just thought I would get the pic of it dirty to show what a working bench SHOULD look like.
  9. What picture are you looking at?? Cant see a chipper in any of them.
  10. Blockage on carb then. Take it apart give it a good clean out with carb cleaner. Check all the diaghrams are in good nick and hole holes or tears. Clean all channels out in carb. Remove high, low screw and give them a good blast through.
  11. Finished a 200t today. New clutch springs fitted and a slight mod done. Looked at a quad again today. Need to get that sorted to return to owner. That's the next job along with a solo top handle saw to get back running. Purely for old times sake.
  12. It's a bit like a one way valve. The one I had wouldn't run no matter where I put the screw. So it came out. Move it back away from the engine and see how it works. Without it you should have the pipe fill up with fuel and spill out the chain cover side. There is a small foam filter under the chain cover that can get really gunked up with saw dust. Clean this out. Edit. Spud beat me to it again. Had a bit of a rush on when I put first post up.
  13. I had one of those a short while ago. The metal bit in pipe I removed. If you follow pipe at other end is where it joins. Look around there as the metal bit I had broke off the end, its the pipe joiner. I removed it and had to fix the pipe back on the other end.
  14. They talk a load of nonsense IMO. I have heard about another site that I must say is really good and very informative for everyone. Not just arbs but homeowners and everything. Only problem is you have to go into 2013. Not 2007.
  15. What weather site are you using mate? Bbc dont have a clue, they just admitted what they THINK will happen.
  16. I'm doing the school run today so not much choice over going to work.
  17. Yeah when I go outside I will take one. Just contemplating getting out of bed now.
  18. Woke up to a blanket of white. And still coming down. Now to test the 4x4 drifting capability of my land rover.
  19. What's the rating on the large oil filled rad Justin???
  20. Three broken water pipes, three holes dug by hand and three joiners on the pipes.... 'twas a good day cold and wet covered in mud. Back to the workshop tomorrow...
  21. Hahahahahaahahaha ASPEN MAN. Need to get the spotlight up. . When he does arrive those springs have turned up so thank you and will call to settle up with you. Need to have a look and see if there is anything else I need aswell. I'm sure there will be
  22. Must I revert back to a previous picture of how a bench should look like.
  23. Pah. You call that untidy.
  24. Ok mike. The problem is from mine and gardenkits point of view is if its someone else's saw. We couldn't send it back like that without sorting the flywheel or a very stern warning to the "customer" first. You could try the coil out with this flywheel but head the warnings over it coming apart. Prolonged use will cause serious damage. Sorry no help on parts from my end either. Happy hunting. Richard.
  25. I buy kit from shops away from me as there are no arb shops near me. Not that I know of anyway. I also buy parts away from me. Not because its cheaper but purely because its a trust things and finding someone I can rely on. I shop at the cheapest place for food and the like. Why? Because local shops charge too much IMO. I would like nothing more than to go down my local arb shop but time and money don't allow it and online is easier. Don't councils have a list of contractors they contact for work, and sourcing locally is just there way of keeping the local people happy? From what I have seen on this forum most council work is not worth the effort to get all how and bothered about...
