1. Would the horse need chainsaw rug or sadle???
2. The hard hat itself doesn't do a lot. But I'm sure the ear defenders and visor would protect your eyes and ears.
3. You do relise that the 201 does need a retune after so many hours from new... I have seen and talked to a lot of climbers who say there's are low powered, but they havnt taken then back to be retuned. I would say a lot of climbers are refurbishing there old 200s. If only to keep them going long enough to wait out for the new husky.
4.

Hello mate. Done it at kingswood training in shipborne. You could try east kent training.

I want to do the airial rescue tickets. Not too bothered over climbing with a saw to be honest, it doesn't interest me that much.

5. Lifeboat. A strobe was reported and we had to go and take a look. Pager went off at 9.20 and I've just got in. Note to self. Buy some nice gloves.
6. I can see a new reply with... Loads of stuff stuck in chimney now any ideas on how to remove it all???
7. Your telling me try being sat in the English Channel 5 miles out looking for a flashing strobe reported by a passing tanker....... That was cold.
8. Ok cheers spud. The saw was in bits when I got it so don't know if its any good. Guess I wil get some bearings and seals and see what happens.
9. Decided it was time to get my 30 and 31. Yes I know its been a long time but red tape and common sense came to pass.
10. Started snowing while doing my cs assessment today. Didn't last long. Checking the weather and it looks like its going to get very cold soon.
11. No. No dig at anyone. I got no problems with anyone on this site. If they don't like me or how I post things then that's down to them. It has no effect on my life. And how can I carry on to see this bird on a bikini then....
12. Agreed. Most threads would have been closed a long time ago by now....
13. Firstly OMT thats a bit steep I could do it for three. Secondly unless you know someone on here personally they are only online friends and not personal friends. Some you will get on well with others you won't. It's called being in a huge community.... This site is a good way to get advise from others that have been there and done that. My life in no way shape or form has been easy and I have had to fight a very hard battle to get to where I want to be and I'm still fighting. And I'm sure many are or where in the same situation. Deleting your profile will gain nothing exept not being on this site anymore. And I'm sure if you really wanted to you would just not log in and keep off it. It must be a new thing that people want to leave the site. I don't think I could as I would miss the banter and all the information.
14. Got the 200t back together. Nearly. Enough to run it up. Just need some clutch springs (BARRIE). Started good and comp is at 160psi. This is after replacing the crank and bearings with another. Got a technical question. What is the wear limit on the crank bearings area. The old crank looks ok but not sure what the limit is for it. The bearings are shot though.
15. Well that's the right thing. I would always buy as its just easier. But it's not impossible to make the gaskets. Just thinking out loud really.
16. Ok. So what's people's thoughts over making there own gaskets up. Talking exhaust gasket. Just a thought in my head.
17. Hahahahahaahahaha. If the gasket doesn't have two tabs on each screw hole on the gasket so you can put the first turns of the thread in and it holds the gasket in place I'm afraid you are just going to have to man up and keep twiddling until it goes in. Use a LITTLE bit of petroleum jelly to hold it until its in place for the screws. Used this method before worked for me.
18. Most greenmech Shutes are a bit of a distance from the tipper. Found that if it turns into a problem to have the chipper side on to the truck so the shut goes into the tipper box. Sometimes it's easier when the tipper won't fit on the driveway but the chipper will.
19. Got another 200t on the bench today. This one has knackerd crank bearings and seals and a knackerd crank. Owner also wants a little mod. Was given in bits so have to reassemble it aswell. Exhaust is missing so need one of those on it aswell.. Great fun.
20. Really? I always thought the higher it was the more it supports the back. Just my opinion and what the manual said. Reading the manual was probably the mistake.
21. Hey what can I say. I like the forum. Plus it just helps melt all the info I take in during the day and read everyone else's problems and they make mine look minor
22. Jan is always a bad month. My bench has been empty since just before Xmas. On training this week so no work there. Plenty of money out but none in. Just about empty in the bank aswell. May have a few quid in there but I really don't want to look.... And insurance renewal on everything next month aswell..... Going to be very tough this year. But as said no gear nicked so not all bad.
23. That is a strange one then. I will be copying jonsie on this one and logging this find for a future reference.
24. Gardenkit. Could it have been the depth guides a bit low? As once sharpened it would have brought the cutter down to the correct hight. Edit. Sorry should have said brought the cutter down so it was lower and brings it down to the depth gauge.
