  1. Can it run on aspen??. . Wouldn't want the newly employed climber from the vid coughing and spluttering. I don't think those girls will get paid much.... The poor old guy they will be working for will be having strokes. Good vid.
  2. Wow 5500. Purely shocked. Has the money raised outdone the prize worth??.
  3. You must be a big company....... You've got branches all over the place....
  4. Shame he didn't hit the back of an arctic trailer apc. See him drive away from that one.

A shot from Dover beach today (new years day) went out for a run. And yes that's me on the back.
  6. Nut cases..... Enough said Good on ya for doing it. I'd rather be on the boat than in the water...
  7. One question has always bugged me about those ear loop things.... Why??. Not in a funny way (well exept that get them big enough and you can it a carabina through and use yourself as an anchor point ) Just what compels anyone to have them? It's all a bit confusing to me. Sorry if I sound like a old fart, or like I'm trying to start anything as I'm not. Just an honest question that needs an honest answer.
  8. I've got a 200tdi engine and I'm interested in this. What's the mix ration, as in full tank of fuel to how much oil? My engine is noisy, always has been, sound like an arctic at the lights with the windows down.
  9. Just read from page one. And I must say. Most boring thread ever. Did no one ever teach anyone that sharp objects hurt??? I do remember someone saying that a foot pantin couldn't be worn with spikes. I beg to differ.
  10. I like that.... I like the splitting head. Better time saver than one blade and keep turning the log about. A lot less handling aswell. Just need a coneyor to take the logs onto a pile.
  11. I do hope he had the appropriate ppe to hand. Knee pads and helmet.
  12. I'm not on anything tonight. Got a new year trip out on the lifeboat tomorrow. Going for a good engine burn as they have just been refitted and need 50 hours of very hard running. So it's one speed only. Full ahead both. Gong for a cruise round to Chatham dockyard and back. Happy new year all.
  13. Oh. Remove the clutch drum and all the plastics sourounding it, then have a good clean up. The drum comes off with the clip. Then the two hex screws in the plastic. All this comes off and gives you s good look around the clutch area. The main parts are the braked band and clutch. Depending on how you want the saw depends on replacing the plastic parts.
  14. Yep I clocked his tricks when he does them. The other half watches him. I got to admit secretly he is good.
  15. Hope you don't mind ( if you do a mod can take it down) but I've nicked one of the pictures i liked to show. An idea came to mind while I was looking and that's a land rover one mixed with the car mechanic one you have done, greasy cover alls under the landy
  16. I would be laying exept half the memebers names I don't know......
  17. That's better. Sw the last title and didn't bother posting as I knew it wouldn't be long before it was gone. A side cover, you need to check the brake band is good and the clutch drum. The clutch itself MAY be ok but check all the springs and small plates are ok. Any pictures?
  18. I'm not going to be able go on chat as the computer is naffed all I got is my iPad and can't get chat on it..... Edit scrap that just seen your post. I'm sure arbtalk will be rammed. Sure the server will be able to keep up. Lol
  19. Sorted out a few issues for the mot, sorted the steering wheel out as it was about 90 degrees over to the right instead of straight. After looking at and un bolting the links found all I needed to do was unbolt the steering wheel and pull it off and bolt it back on. The wheel also had excessive play in it. Would still turn the wheel but couldn't feel it until about 4 inches left or right. Found that when the last owner had replaced the steering ram he didn't put the washer back properly and bend the edges up and down around the nut and arm. Sorry the last owner had replaced various bits on the steering parts and had unbolted nearly everything on it. Looked at the rust today and its nowhere near the seatbelt mountings in the boot but still going to kurust it all and weld new plates over it all. Followed by a good smear of underseal. The arches are on the rear doors at the bottom and a bit on the top that hasn't gone through yet but still need to sort all these bits out. Other than that its all good. So I know as I can't check emissions.
