  5. Getting the biggest hug from my boy and seeing his face when he opened his meep. It's a child version of the iPad. That was my best present. Oh and spending the day with my family.

  8. Don't forget some pictures for what's on your bench mate. Hahahahahaahahaha. That polish wont let the new glue set well, will have to sand the areas before glue.
  9. I must say I'm suprised by your thread here mr ty. As we all know you are a converted Muslim and don't celebrate Christmas Day. So I'm intrigued as to the post? It is nice to think that you are thinking of us on Xmas eve. Or is the post something else. Being on here is relaxing to my brain after one of the most stressful afternoons and it is also distracting my mind from wondering to thoughts I would rather it kept well alone.

Definatly mate. It's Xmas and nothing is going to ruin it for me. Still I'm actually ok with it all. The pictures are still in my head as I'm sure they will be for a few days. Still, family time is here and so is enjoyment. A good night tonight and a good day tomoz.

No it wasn't. Sorry as you know not much to give away at moment. But it wasn't a too late job, only by a few weeks aparantly. They think off ferry. And yeah it is the worst both time and first one. Still I don't know him, I didn't put him there, and that's how it's staying. Part of the job.
  12. Just had a thought silky... I do hope your boy doesn't look into this sight. Bit of a giveaway as to what you have got him now.

Well a call out at the checkout in the shop. That was amusing. Dumping the shopping and running for the door. Don't think the security guard stood a chance at stopping me. Baptism by fire isn't the right phrase to use. A lovely one for Xmas eve. Body recovery. Not sure how I feel about it at the moment. Still waiting for the adrenalin to wear off. The lads down the station have been great and any support is always offered. Still I'm home now and with my family so its on with Xmas and enjoy every moment of it. Happy Xmas everyone.
  14. Maybe the 21st was the start of the ned of the world..... End of England anyway Suppose to get dry after Xmas, so expecting the hose pipe ban to start new year
  15. Thanks broonie. I'm looking for one for Xmas really. Just got a lot of hunting to do. It was a last minute idea. That will teach me. Got a few shops to try tomoz.
  16. So what's everyone having this year. Who's cooking it and what's the recipe you are using..? I'm having turkey crown with cranberries made into a glaze over the top. And a gammon joint that will have a honey glaze. Then pigs in blankets and all the trimmings. Goose fat spuds with some Thyme and rosemary. I'm cooking it all as its Xmas and no one else is allowed to do it
  17. In the bible it rained for 40 days and nights......... Must of been a good summer back then.
  18. Ok. Expanding foam is ok. Exept you really don't need to put a lot in. It really expands over double it original size. I would do a small amount then figure it out and add more if needed. I wouldn't use it on a door frame or window frame for that matter. The foam if used too much will push the tin up and away. Can you not just buy the foam fillers. They do them in nearly every DIY shop.
  19. Put a bit next to the fire and do another reading after a while. See if it improves. Could just be the first inch sucking moisture from the air.
  20. Merr Xmas to you too. Glad it got fixed ok. This forum is great but as you go along the ribbings get better as people get to know you.
  21. Argh I hate trying to us presents. Been looking for ages for the other half. I need a jaguar car. The display type ones in a box, about the size of a shoe box. Easy if I wanted a supercar. Not so much for a jag. The story is she love jags, and wants a real one so until we get a real one a model one would be perfect. (Sort of cheeky gift) found an air fix model one today so that might be on my bench at some point to be put together.
  22. A women and a kettle makes great coffee. Sorry if its been posted but I havnt read the whole thread as I need to get back to favourite tv girls thread
  23. Think the ported husky will manage it spud??? Might need a special chain.
